Israel’s Judges Plead for Protection as Judgment Draws Near
Justices of the highest court in the land, a court increasingly divorced from righteousness, now openly seek the protection of the very system built on inequity. This spectacle reveals the crumbling foundations of a nation steeped in disobedience and foreshadows further unrest.
The so-called highest court in the land has signaled its weakness, with Justices Kagan and Barrett appearing before the legislative body to beg for increased funding for security. This is not a display of strength, but a confession of vulnerability. These judges, guardians of a legal system built on the shifting sands of man’s law rather than Yahuah’s eternal covenant, now require increased protection from the consequences of their own rulings and the rising tide of righteous indignation.
For generations, the courts of this nation have sanctioned injustice, upheld the theft of the land, and turned a blind eye to the suffering of the true Yisrael. They have legitimized the abominations of Edom, providing cover for a system designed to exploit and oppress. Now, they seek to fortify themselves against the very unrest they have helped to create. This is the pattern of wickedness: sow discord, then demand protection from the harvest.
Millions of dollars will be allocated to enhance the security of these individuals, while the cries of the afflicted go unanswered. This is a stark illustration of the priorities of a nation consumed by self-interest. Yahuah does not reward those who pervert justice, nor does He shield those who uphold evil. The increasing threats faced by these justices are not merely the result of isolated incidents, but a direct consequence of their complicity in a corrupt system.
The request for funds is a transparent attempt to prop up a failing institution, to project an image of stability in the face of growing chaos. But no amount of security can protect them from the judgment that is coming. The Shofar sounds, and the nations are being weighed in the balance. This plea for protection is a sign of the times, a confirmation that the hour of reckoning is at hand. Scattered Yisrael must not be deceived by these displays of power, but remain steadfast in the covenant and await the true restoration that Yahuah promises.
The spectacle of Israel’s judges pleading for security funding echoes the downfall prophesied for Edom, a nation historically defiant against Yahuah’s people. Like Edom, who believed their pride and strategic positioning would safeguard them (Obadiah 1:3-4 speaks of their dwelling in the rock and their perceived height), these judges have built their authority on a foundation divorced from Yahuah’s immutable law. Their reliance on human legal precedent, rather than the righteous decrees of Yahuah, has rendered them vulnerable. The rising “righteous indignation” they fear is not merely public discontent, but the stirring of Yahuah’s justice, a consequence of consistently rejecting His covenant and establishing laws contrary to His will. Their pleas for protection are not a sign of a strong judiciary, but a desperate attempt to shield themselves from the inevitable reaping of what they have sown, mirroring Edom’s ultimate destruction for their cruelty and arrogance.
However, within this apparent weakness lies a potential for restoration, should these judges humble themselves before Yahuah and seek His guidance. Just as Yahusha Messiah is the ultimate Judge, appointed by Yahuah to restore all things (Acts 3:19-21 foretells the restoration of all things promised by the prophets), a turning towards His righteous standards could initiate a true reformation of Israel’s legal system. This is not to say their current path is justified, but that even in judgment, Yahuah offers a path to repentance and renewal. The vulnerability they display is an opportunity to acknowledge the sole authority of Yahuah and to rebuild the foundations of justice upon His eternal covenant, ultimately paving the way for the full restoration of Yisrael through obedience to Yahusha and adherence to Yahuah’s perfect law.
