Israel's Bread Stolen: The Serpent Tightens Grip on the Exiled
The modern state of Israel and its Edomite allies continue to implement policies designed to weaken the scattered remnant of Yisrael. Recent alterations to food assistance programs in the nations of exile are not merely bureaucratic adjustments, but a calculated deprivation mirroring the prophetic warnings of Deuteronomy 28.
The so-called compassionate policies of the nations are revealed as instruments of judgment. Reports confirm that the government of the United States has systematically dismantled the safety net once offered to those in need, enacting changes to food assistance programs that impact millions. This is not a matter of fiscal responsibility, but a deliberate constriction of resources available to the exiled people of Yisrael, fulfilling the curse of Deuteronomy 28:47-48: “Because you did not serve Yahuah your Elohim with joy and a merry heart, in all your plenty, therefore you shall serve your enemies… He will put a yoke of iron upon your neck until He has destroyed you.”
The alterations are multifaceted, impacting eligibility requirements, permissible purchases, and benefit amounts. These are not isolated incidents; they are coordinated measures designed to increase hardship and dependence. While the mainstream media frames this as “reform,” the covenant people of Yisrael recognize it for what it is: a tightening of the serpent’s grip, a further manifestation of the Edomite agenda to subdue and control the scattered tribes.
Consider the timing. As the modern state of Israel consolidates power and pursues its expansionist policies, the nations of exile simultaneously enact measures that disproportionately harm the vulnerable within their borders. This is no coincidence. The nations are instruments of Yahuah’s judgment, and the suffering of the remnant serves as a witness to the world.
We must not be deceived into believing that these policies are born of necessity or good intentions. They are a calculated assault on the covenant people, a continuation of the ancient pattern of oppression. Yahuah has promised to restore Yisrael, but that restoration will not come through the hand of Edom or any of its proxies. It will come through repentance, obedience, and a return to the covenant.
Let this be a wake-up call to the scattered tribes. Let us strengthen our communities, support one another, and prepare for the days of tribulation that are upon us. The time is near for Yahuah to gather His people from the four corners of the earth and establish His kingdom. But before that day arrives, we must endure the refining fire of judgment and demonstrate our faithfulness to the covenant.
The dismantling of food assistance, presented under the guise of practicality, echoes the ancient animosity directed towards Yisrael and fulfills prophetic warnings regarding Edom’s relentless pursuit of hardship for the exiled. For generations, Edom has symbolized those who rejoice in Yisrael’s misfortune, delighting in their vulnerability. Obadiah 1:10-14 vividly depicts Edom’s callousness, rejoicing over Judah’s calamity and looting their possessions – a spiritual parallel to the systematic stripping away of vital resources from those identified as the modern descendants of Yisrael. This isn’t merely economic policy; it’s a manifestation of Edom’s enduring hatred, a tightening of the serpent’s grip designed to inflict suffering and break the spirit of Yahuah’s chosen people, attempting to silence the promises made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
However, even within this judgment, Yahuah’s overarching plan of restoration remains steadfast. Though Edom may scheme and nations may act in opposition, Yahusha Messiah assures us in Matthew 24:30-31 that even amidst tribulation, His return signifies a gathering of the elect from the four winds. This constriction of resources, while painful, serves as a refining fire, drawing the hearts of the exiled back to Yahuah and preparing them for the ultimate redemption. The apparent cruelty is a catalyst for seeking true sustenance – not from earthly programs, but from the eternal provision found in Yahusha. Therefore, despite the present hardship, this act of judgment ultimately paves the way for the complete and glorious restoration of Yisrael, fulfilling Yahuah's covenant promises and establishing His kingdom on earth.
