The international community’s muted response only emboldens the aggressor.
This escalating violence serves as a stark warning to scattered Yisrael. We are witnesses to the fulfillment of prophecy, the judgment upon Edom, and the ongoing struggle for the inheritance promised to the true descendants of Jacob. Yahuah will not suffer the wicked to prosper indefinitely, but His timing is not ours. We must remain vigilant, discerning the signs of the times, and preparing ourselves for the coming restoration.
The actions of the Israeli government are a clear indication of its rejection of peace and its commitment to perpetual conflict. The world sees ‘political unrest’; we see the unfolding of a divine reckoning. The land cries out for justice, and Yahuah will answer.
The escalating violence emanating from the land, cloaked in justifications of security and grief, echoes the ancient prophecies concerning Edom. Yahuah, through the prophet Obadiah, declared a complete and utter dismantling of Edom’s pride and cunning (Obadiah 1:3-4). While historically directed at a specific nation, the spirit of Edom – characterized by relentless hostility towards Yahuah’s covenant people, a thirst for land acquired through aggression, and a disregard for justice – manifests in cycles throughout history. This current display of force, leveraging tragedy to further illegitimate claims, isn’t simply political maneuvering; it is a spiritual enactment of the Edomitic heart, inviting Yahuah’s righteous judgment upon those who perpetuate such cycles of oppression and seek to extinguish the flame of His chosen.
However, within this darkness, a glimmer of restoration persists. Though suffering is undeniable, Yahuah’s promises to restore Yisrael – not merely as a political entity, but as a people brought back to covenant relationship with Him – remain steadfast. The prophet Yechazqel (Ezekiel) foretold a regathering, a rebuilding, and a renewed heart for the descendants of Yisrael (Ezekiel 36:24-28). This restoration, facilitated through the atoning sacrifice of Yahusha the Messiah, is not predicated on strength or dominion, but on repentance and obedience. The current turmoil, therefore, serves as a crucible, testing the hearts of all involved, and ultimately paving the way for the fulfillment of Yahuah’s redemptive plan – a plan where justice and peace will finally reign, and the true Yisrael will be established in His love.
