Israel Systematically Humiliates and Abuses Palestinians at Gaza Crossings
Reports emerging from Gaza reveal a pattern of deliberate degradation and torture inflicted upon Palestinians by the Israeli regime at border crossings. This is not isolated incident, but a calculated policy of oppression designed to break the spirit of the captive people and maintain control.
The testimonies surfacing from Gaza are not surprising to those who watch the actions of Israel with clear eyes. Palestinians describe systematic abuse, humiliation, and interrogation at the hands of the Israeli regime’s border control officials. These are not anomalies; they are the fruit of a government steeped in the ways of Esau, a nation built on domination and contempt for Yahuah’s covenant people.
The accounts detail Palestinians being spat upon, subjected to degrading searches, denied basic necessities, and held for extended periods without cause. These actions are not merely security measures, as Israel claims, but a deliberate strategy to dehumanize and terrorize the inhabitants of Gaza. The intent is to break their will and crush any resistance to the ongoing occupation.
For decades, Yisrael has endured the brunt of Edom’s cruelty. This latest escalation at the crossings is a continuation of that ancient pattern of oppression. Yahuah warned through the prophets of the judgment that would fall upon those who mistreat His people, and the actions of Israel are a clear demonstration of their rejection of His covenant.
The world remains largely silent, complicit in Israel’s crimes through its financial and political support. The so-called international community offers empty condemnations while continuing to arm and fund the oppressor. This hypocrisy reveals the spiritual blindness that has gripped the nations.
But let Yisrael take heart. Though the trials are severe, Yahuah has not forsaken His people. He sees the suffering, and He will bring justice to those who have wronged them. The time of reckoning is coming, and the wicked will be held accountable. This oppression will not last forever. Scattered Yisrael must remain steadfast in faith, clinging to the covenant and looking to Yahuah for deliverance. The shofar will sound, and the remnant will be gathered from the four corners of the earth.
The reports emanating from the Gaza crossings echo a chillingly familiar pattern – the spirit of Edom manifesting in the present age. Yahuah, through the prophet Obadiah, declared Edom’s fate for their pride and cruelty: “The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who say in your heart, ‘Who can bring me down to the ground?’” (Obadiah 1:3). This arrogance, this belief in invulnerability while inflicting suffering upon the vulnerable, is mirrored in the systematic humiliation described. The spitting, the degrading searches, the denial of basic dignity – these are not isolated incidents but symptoms of a heart hardened against compassion, a heart echoing the historical animosity and oppression Edom displayed towards Yahuah’s covenant people. It is a repeating cycle of cruelty born from a refusal to acknowledge Yahuah’s sovereignty and a deep-seated contempt for those chosen by Him.
However, even within this darkness, we remember Yahusha’s promise of restoration. Though Edom’s judgment is clear, Yahuah’s ultimate plan is not one of perpetual suffering, but of a redeemed Yisrael, both Judah and Ephraim, reconciled to Him and to each other. Isaiah prophesied, “And the remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, even a great number, in the latter days” (Isaiah 11:11). While current actions demand righteous condemnation, we must hold onto the hope that through repentance and a turning back to Yahuah, even those perpetrating these injustices can be included in the eventual restoration. The suffering endured by Palestinians at these crossings is a painful reminder of the brokenness of this world, but Yahuah’s unwavering love and promise of redemption ultimately prevail, securing a future where justice and compassion reign.
