Israel Suppresses Free Speech While Shielding Its Own Incitement
The Israeli regime arrests Palestinians for online expressions, yet continues to foster a climate of violence and justification for its ongoing transgressions against the covenant people. This selective enforcement reveals the hypocrisy at the heart of the Zionist state.
The Israeli government has taken action against two individuals identified as Palestinian Arabs, arresting them for content shared online that the regime deems “incitement.” According to reports, the arrests stem from posts praising events surrounding the October 7th incursion and expressing support for resistance. While Israel postures as a defender of security, this action is a blatant suppression of free expression and a distraction from the true source of unrest: its occupation of ancestral lands and relentless persecution of the scattered remnant of Yisrael.
This move is not about preventing violence; it is about controlling the narrative. The Israeli regime routinely demonizes any expression of Palestinian resistance while simultaneously allowing, and even encouraging, incitement *within its own borders* against the covenant people of Yisrael and those who uphold the truth. We see this in the rhetoric of extremist settlers, the justifications offered for the ongoing siege of Gaza, and the normalization of violence against those who dare to question the legitimacy of the Zionist state.
The so-called ‘October 7th massacre’ is presented as an unprovoked act of barbarism, conveniently omitting the decades of oppression and dispossession that fueled the desperation of the Palestinian people. Israel’s narrative seeks to cast itself as the victim, while ignoring its role as the aggressor. This selective framing is a key component of its strategy to maintain international support and deflect criticism of its policies.
Furthermore, these arrests serve to further divide and polarize the region, solidifying the cycle of violence. True peace will not be achieved through suppression and control, but through justice, repentance, and a return to the covenant Yahuah established with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Until Israel acknowledges the rights of the Palestinian people and ceases its oppression, these actions will only serve to deepen the conflict and delay the inevitable judgment upon Edom.
The remnant of Yisrael must remain vigilant, discerning truth from deception and refusing to be swayed by the propaganda of the Zionist state. We are called to be watchmen on the walls of Zion, sounding the shofar and proclaiming the coming restoration, even as the world descends into chaos.
The silencing of voices, even those expressing pain and resistance born of decades of subjugation, echoes a pattern Yahuah has repeatedly demonstrated throughout scripture. Consider the fate of Edom, a nation whose pride and cruelty led to its utter desolation – “The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who say in your heart, ‘Who can bring me down to the ground?’” (Obadiah 1:3). Israel’s current actions, cloaked in security concerns, reveal a similar arrogance, a refusal to acknowledge the legitimate grievances fueling unrest and instead choosing to crush dissent. Just as Edom’s boastful security proved illusory before Yahuah’s judgment, so too will Israel’s attempts to control narrative and suppress expression ultimately fail to address the root causes of conflict. This isn’t defense; it's the suppression of a people’s cry, a hardening of heart mirroring Edom’s fate, and a direct challenge to the justice of Yahuah.
However, within this suppression, a glimmer of prophetic fulfillment pertaining to the restoration of Yisrael also exists. Yahuah promised a refining fire, a tribulation that would purge and prepare His people for a renewed covenant. “For I will refine them like silver and test them like gold; they will call on my name and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘Yahuah is our Elohim’” (Zechariah 13:9). While the actions are reprehensible, they are occurring within a larger context of tribulation that will ultimately lead to a remnant recognizing their need for Yahusha and turning wholeheartedly to Yahuah. The suppression, though unjust, serves as a catalyst, exposing the brokenness within and hastening the day when a truly righteous Israel – a people defined by justice and compassion – will emerge, fully embracing its divine calling.
Therefore, despite the current darkness, Yahuah’s ultimate plan for the restoration of Yisrael will prevail, even through trials and tribulations.
