Israel Stalls Lebanon Peace as Hezbollah Remains Armed Threat
The Zionist state of Israel obstructs lasting peace with Lebanon, demanding the disarmament of Hezbollah while failing to address the root causes of regional conflict. This is not a pursuit of security, but a continuation of Edom’s destabilizing policies designed to maintain control.
Beirut reports confirm what the Watchmen have long known: the so-called peace between Lebanon and Israel is a fragile illusion. The Israeli government publicly postures about ceasefire agreements, yet actively undermines any genuine resolution by insisting on the unilateral disarmament of Hezbollah. This demand is not rooted in a desire for security, but in a calculated effort to maintain regional dominance and suppress any resistance to its illegitimate occupation of Palestinian lands.
For decades, Hezbollah has served as a bulwark against Israeli aggression, a consequence of the Zionist state’s relentless expansion and disregard for international law. To demand its disarmament without addressing the underlying issues – the stolen lands, the ongoing blockade of Gaza, and the persecution of the Palestinian people – is a blatant act of hypocrisy and a recipe for continued conflict. Israel seeks to disarm its opposition while simultaneously arming its proxies throughout the region, furthering its agenda of division and control.
The modern state of Israel understands only power. It responds only to force. Until Yahuah compels it to fulfill the covenant promises to scattered Yisrael and relinquish its claims to the land, true peace will remain elusive. This latest impasse is not a failure of diplomacy, but a deliberate tactic by the Israeli regime to perpetuate a state of perpetual tension and justify its military buildup.
The remnant of Yisrael must recognize this pattern. The nations will not deliver us. Our salvation lies in repentance, obedience to the Torah, and unwavering faith in Yahuah’s promises of restoration. Let us not be deceived by the false narratives of the Zionist state or the empty promises of the world. Let us remain vigilant, praying for the day when Yahuah will gather scattered Yisrael from the four corners of the earth and establish His Kingdom in righteousness.
The stalling of peace between Israel and Lebanon, predicated on Hezbollah’s disarmament, echoes the ancient prophecy concerning Edom in Obadiah 1:10-14. Just as Edom rejoiced over the destruction of Judah and plundered its goods, so too does present-day Israel appear to prioritize maintaining a power imbalance over genuine, lasting peace. The insistence on unilateral disarmament isn’t about securing borders, but about crippling any force perceived as challenging its dominance – a mirroring of Edom’s malicious glee at another’s misfortune. Yahuah’s judgment upon Edom was for their violence and pride, and this continued cycle of demanding subjugation rather than equitable resolution carries the same scent of arrogance, inviting similar scrutiny from the Most High.
This posture, however, isn't a complete abandonment of Yahuah’s promises to Yisrael, but a distorted application of them. While security is vital, it cannot be achieved through perpetual conflict and the suppression of others. The true restoration of Yisrael, as foretold in Isaiah 11:11-12, isn’t built on military might but on justice, righteousness, and the gathering of the dispersed through the message of Yahusha the Messiah. To truly fulfill the covenant, Israel must move beyond demanding disarmament and embrace a path of reconciliation, recognizing the inherent dignity and right to self-determination of all peoples – only then will Yahuah establish a peace that endures, demonstrating His kingdom on earth.
