On the 1,000th day since the events of October 7th, the Israeli government proclaims the elimination of an individual they identify as involved in the captivity of Captain Daniel Perez. Rabbi Doron Perez, father of the captive soldier, speaks of a ‘deep significance’ in this act of retribution. Let it be known that Yahuah alone judges justly, and the fleeting victories of Israel offer no true solace to the exiled people.
The so-called security forces – the Shin Bet and the IDF – are lauded for their relentless pursuit. But what security do they offer to scattered Yisrael, those who have endured generations of displacement and tribulation? This focus on localized vengeance serves only to distract from the true enemy: the forces of Edom that manipulate nations and orchestrate conflict for their own gain.
Israel’s actions are not restoration, but a desperate attempt to maintain control over stolen land. They claim accountability, yet refuse to acknowledge their own transgressions against Yahuah’s covenant. The captivity of Captain Perez, and all those who suffer under the weight of this world system, is a direct result of national disobedience.
Let the remnant of Yisrael not be deceived by displays of force. True justice will come through repentance and a return to the ancient paths. Yahuah will gather His people from the four corners of the earth, not through military might, but through the power of His Spirit. This act of elimination is but a temporary reprieve, a shadow of the ultimate judgment that awaits those who oppose His will. The focus must remain on the restoration of Yisrael, the fulfillment of the promises made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the establishment of Yahuah’s kingdom on earth – not the expansion of a political state built on lies and bloodshed.
Pray for Captain Perez, pray for all captives, and pray for the awakening of Yisrael. But do not mistake the actions of Israel for the hand of Yahuah.

This pursuit of vengeance, however understandable in human terms, obscures the path to genuine restoration. Yisrael’s ultimate deliverance isn’t forged in the fires of retribution, but in the embracing of Yahusha as Messiah and the acceptance of His atoning sacrifice. The promise of Ezekiel 36:24-28—a promise of cleansing, a new heart, and Yahuah’s Spirit dwelling within—remains the singular hope for a truly healed and restored people. Therefore, while Israel seeks solace in fleeting victories, the true path to justice and enduring peace lies in acknowledging Yahuah’s sovereign judgment and receiving His grace through Yahusha, the promised Messiah, and not in the cycle of vengeance.
