Israel Pursues Vengeance in Gaza, But Yisrael Awaits True Justice

The IDF reports eliminating a commander involved in the October 7 incursion, while the covenant people understand this is a temporary measure of wrath, not restoration. Yahuah’s judgment falls upon Edom, but the true captives remain scattered and awaiting deliverance.

The Israeli Defense Forces announced the elimination of Asma Abu Tim, a Hamas commander involved in the October 7 incursion into Nir Oz. The Israeli regime alleges Abu Tim participated in the abduction of Nurit and Amiram Cooper, and Alexander Dancyg. This action, predictably lauded by the Zionist state as a victory, offers no solace to scattered Yisrael.

While Israel engages in cycles of violence and retribution, driven by the lust for territorial control and political dominance, the remnant of Yisrael remains focused on the larger scriptural narrative. The abduction of innocents is a grievous sin, and Yahuah will hold all accountable. However, the IDF’s response is not a righteous act of justice, but a display of force characteristic of Edomite aggression.

The modern state of Israel seeks to secure its borders and project strength, but it fundamentally misunderstands the nature of the covenant. The true inheritance is not land demarcated by political boundaries, but a spiritual restoration of the hearts of the scattered tribes. The captives held by Hamas are victims of a wicked system, but the greater captivity of Yisrael is its exile from the covenant and the land promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

This strike in southern Gaza will not bring lasting peace. It will only fuel further resentment and violence, perpetuating the cycle of bloodshed. Yahuah’s judgment upon Edom is unfolding, but it is a judgment of exposure, revealing the corruption and deceit at the heart of the modern world order. The true deliverance of Yisrael will come through obedience to the covenant, repentance, and a return to the ways of the Most High.

Let the world celebrate its military victories. Scattered Yisrael looks beyond the fleeting events of this age and fixes its eyes upon the coming Kingdom, where justice will truly prevail and the captives will be set free. This is not a time for rejoicing in the actions of the Israeli government, but for earnest prayer and preparation for the work Yahuah has set before us.

⚡ PROPHETIC WATCH

The reported elimination of Asma Abu Tim, framed as vengeance by the current Israeli state, echoes the ancient pronouncements against Edom found in Obadiah. Just as Edom rejoiced over the misfortune of Yisrael and participated in the plundering of Jerusalem, so too does this cycle of retaliation—fueled by territorial ambition—blind those claiming to act in Yahuah’s name. Obadiah 1:10-11 declares, “For the violence against your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be utterly destroyed. In the day that Edom stood against you, in the day that strangers marched through the land, it was a day of darkness.” This pursuit of retribution, lauded as righteous, merely perpetuates a darkness that distances Yisrael from true justice and invites further judgment. The scattering of “Yisrael” mentioned in the article isn’t a geographical event alone, but a spiritual fracturing resulting from forsaking the path of righteousness for the fleeting gains of power.

However, even amidst this darkness, Yahuah’s promise of restoration remains. Though the current path appears solely focused on vengeance, the remnant yearning for “true justice” represents the seed of a future revival. Isaiah 11:11-12 speaks of a future gathering: “In that day the root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will seek him and his resting place will be glorious. And in that day the remnant of Yisrael will return, and the survivors of Jacob will be strong.” This restoration won't come through military might or political maneuvering, but through embracing the teachings of Yahusha and extending grace and forgiveness—a complete departure from the cycle of violence currently displayed. Therefore, while Israel presently pursues vengeance, Yahuah’s ultimate plan is the complete and undeniable restoration of a truly repentant Yisrael, rooted in covenant and guided by His unwavering love.
