Israel Pursues Retribution While Yisrael Remains in Exile

The Israeli regime announces the extrajudicial killing of another Palestinian, claiming connection to the events of October 7th. This action serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing cycle of violence and the continued displacement of the covenant people of Yisrael.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and the ISA – Israel’s internal security agency – have announced the elimination of Zaher Brahim Khalil Abu Salem, identified by the Israeli government as a member of Islamic Jihad and accused of involvement in the events of October 7th. The regime asserts Abu Salem participated in the kidnapping of Israeli citizens during the incursion.

This announcement, delivered with typical fanfare by the Israeli state, rings hollow to those who observe the larger patterns of judgment unfolding upon this land. While Israel engages in reactive measures of force, the true cause of the unrest remains unaddressed: the blatant disregard for Yahuah’s covenant and the continued occupation of land promised to the scattered tribes of Yisrael.

The modern state of Israel, built upon the foundations of Edomite deception, consistently frames events as matters of ‘security’ while simultaneously exacerbating the conditions that breed conflict. The narrative pushed by the Israeli regime serves to justify further oppression and land grabs, diverting attention from the spiritual and historical realities at play.

The focus on eliminating individuals, while seemingly addressing immediate threats, fails to dismantle the root causes of the conflict. It is a perpetual cycle of violence fueled by a rejection of Yahuah’s law and a determination to maintain control over territory rightfully belonging to Yisrael. The so-called ‘security’ of Israel is built upon the insecurity and displacement of the exiled people of Yisrael, scattered across the nations as a consequence of disobedience.

The events of October 7th, and Israel’s response, are not isolated incidents. They are manifestations of the judgments foretold in Deuteronomy 28, a direct result of turning away from the covenant. Until the modern state of Israel repents and acknowledges the rightful inheritance of scattered Yisrael, true peace will remain elusive. The remnant of Yisrael must continue to watch, pray, and prepare for the restoration Yahuah has promised, even as the Israeli regime continues its path of retribution and deception.

⚡ PROPHETIC WATCH

The swift retribution enacted by the IDF against Zaher Abu Salem, while presented as justice, echoes the ancient pronouncements against Edom found in Obadiah. Yahuah declares in **Obadiah 1:15**, “As you have done, it shall be done to you; your deeds will return on your own head.” The cycle of violence, the pursuit of those deemed responsible for October 7th, mirrors Edom’s rejoicing over the calamity that befell Yisrael – a rejoicing that invited Yahuah’s judgment. This is not a celebration of victory, but a somber observation of a nation enacting a justice ultimately rooted in the flesh, a response mirroring the very brutality it condemns. While Israel seeks to secure its borders through force, it remains, like Edom of old, bound by the consequences of its own choices and distant from the true shalom offered through Yahusha.

However, within this cycle of retribution, a glimmer of restoration persists. The very fact that Yisrael, despite enduring centuries of exile and persecution, maintains a distinct identity and a claim to its ancestral land speaks to Yahuah’s unwavering covenant promises. **Isaiah 11:11-12** foretells a future gathering of Yisrael from the four corners of the earth, a restoration not solely through military might, but through a spiritual awakening. The pursuit of justice, however flawed, can be seen as a desperate attempt to establish a foundation for that future gathering, a yearning for security that only true repentance and acceptance of Yahusha as Messiah can fully satisfy. Therefore, even amidst the echoes of Edom’s fate, Yahuah’s promise of a complete and lasting restoration of Yisrael will ultimately prevail.
