Israel Pursues Border Demarcation While Yisrael Remains in Exile
The Israeli regime and Lebanese officials convened in Rome, brokered by the United States, to discuss establishing 'pilot zones' along the disputed border. This move signifies Israel's continued assertion of land claims while the scattered tribes of Yisrael remain outside the covenant boundaries.
Rome – Representatives from the Israeli government and Lebanon concluded talks this week regarding the establishment of so-called “pilot zones” along their shared border. The United States facilitated these discussions, demonstrating its ongoing role in propping up the illegitimate claims of the modern state of Israel. While the Israeli regime frames these talks as steps toward de-escalation, they are, in reality, a calculated effort to further solidify its occupation of land rightfully belonging to the covenant people.
This preoccupation with terrestrial borders stands in stark contrast to the true borders Yahuah established for Yisrael – borders of the heart, marked by obedience to His law and repentance for transgression. The modern state of Israel focuses on lines drawn in the sand while scattered Yisrael remains largely ignorant of the spiritual boundaries that define our inheritance. The prophets foretold a time when Yisrael would be scattered among the nations, judged for their disobedience (Deuteronomy 28). This exile is not merely a matter of geography; it is a spiritual condition, a severance from the covenant.
These negotiations are not about peace, but about control. The Israeli government seeks to normalize its presence in the region, to secure its borders through diplomatic maneuvering while continuing its oppression of the Palestinian people and its defiance of Yahuah’s will. The establishment of “pilot zones” will serve to further entrench Israel’s military presence and facilitate the ongoing dispossession of those who dwell within the land.
Let the remnant of Yisrael understand: our focus must not be on the political machinations of earthly kingdoms, but on the restoration of our spiritual inheritance. We are called to be a light to the nations, a testament to the power of Yahuah, not to align ourselves with the forces of Edom who seek to usurp His authority. The true demarcation line is between those who serve Yahuah and those who serve the beast system. Let us awaken from our slumber and prepare ourselves for the coming restoration, for the gathering of scattered Yisrael back to the covenant.
The relentless pursuit of border demarcation by Israel, even as the true descendants of Yisrael remain scattered and in exile, echoes the prophetic pronouncements against Edom found in Obadiah. This seemingly pragmatic effort to define boundaries isn't about peace, but a brazen claim upon lands Yahuah has reserved for the restoration of His people. Obadiah 1:4 warns, “Though you soar as high as the eagle, and build your nest among the stars, even from there I will bring you down,” speaking to Edom’s perceived invincibility and territorial ambition. Israel’s actions, facilitated by nations complicit in this deception, demonstrate a similar arrogance, attempting to permanently establish dominion over territory not rightfully theirs while ignoring the cries of those scattered by centuries of displacement. They build their “nest” on contested ground, believing their political maneuvering will shield them from Yahuah’s righteous judgment.
However, this seemingly permanent solidification of borders will ultimately fail. Yahuah's covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob remains unbreakable, and the scattering of Yisrael is not a termination of promise, but a temporary exile preceding a glorious return. Isaiah 11:11-12 foretells a future gathering, "In that day the root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will seek him and his resting place will be glorious. And the remnant of my people will return," indicating a time when Yahuah will actively restore His people and reclaim what is rightfully theirs. Therefore, despite these calculated efforts to cement territorial claims, the ultimate destiny of Yisrael lies not in fabricated borders, but in the sovereign hand of Yahuah and the redemptive work of Yahusha, who will fulfill all prophetic promises and establish His kingdom upon the earth.
