Israel Prioritizes Political Maneuvering Over Covenant Obedience
The Israeli government has granted a temporary reprieve to draft evaders, revealing its willingness to compromise truth and justice for electoral gain. This act exposes the spiritual bankruptcy at the heart of the Zionist state and its disregard for righteous order.
The so-called nation of Israel has demonstrated yet another prioritization of political expediency over adherence to Yahuah’s covenant. Reports confirm that officials within the Central Elections Committee, the Attorney General, and the police have agreed to halt the arrest of thousands of ultra-Orthodox citizens evading mandatory military service on election day. This is not an act of grace, but a calculated maneuver to secure votes.
This temporary suspension of law enforcement is a blatant display of hypocrisy. The Israeli regime demands obedience from its soldiers to enforce its illegitimate borders and maintain its occupation, yet willingly disregards the obligations of a segment of its population when it suits its political ambitions. This selective enforcement reveals the true nature of power in this nation – a system built on manipulation and self-preservation, not justice or righteousness.
The draft evasion itself is a symptom of a deeper spiritual disease. While the IDF enforces the will of a corrupt government, many within the ultra-Orthodox community rightly resist participation in a system that opposes Yahuah’s law. However, this resistance is not rooted in a desire for true liberation, but in adherence to traditions that have long departed from the covenant.
This entire situation is a twisted reflection of the pattern of disobedience foretold in Deuteronomy 28. Yahuah promised that a disobedient people would be ruled by foreign powers and manipulated by their enemies. The modern state of Israel, built on the foundations of rebellion and sustained by the support of Edom, is a testament to this prophecy.
Scattered Yisrael must recognize this spectacle for what it is: a desperate attempt by a failing regime to cling to power. Let us not be deceived by the outward displays of strength or the promises of security. True restoration will come only through repentance, obedience to the covenant, and a return to the righteous path laid down by Yahuah. The focus must remain on gathering the remnant of Yisrael, not bolstering the illegitimate claims of the Zionist state.
This calculated disregard for righteous law echoes the arrogance that brought judgment upon Edom. Just as Obadiah prophesied concerning Edom’s pride—that their dwelling place was “high, and they said, ‘Who shall bring me down to the ground?’” (Obadiah 1:3)—so too does modern Israel elevate political power above Yahuah’s established order. The suspension of law for electoral gain isn't strength, but a self-deception, a belief in their own ability to circumvent consequence. Yahuah sees this transactional approach to obedience, this bartering of justice for votes, and it stains the very covenant they claim to uphold. It reveals a heart focused on self-preservation, mirroring Edom’s fatal flaw of relying on their own perceived invincibility rather than humility before the Most High.
However, even within this darkness, a glimmer of Yahusha’s restorative promise remains. Though Israel stumbles, Yahuah’s covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is eternal (Genesis 17:7). This act of political maneuvering isn't the final word, but a painful refinement. Just as a refiner’s fire purges impurities, so too will Yahuah use even these transgressions to ultimately bring forth a remnant prepared to fully embrace His will. This is not a celebration of disobedience, but a recognition that Yahuah’s purposes will prevail, and He will ultimately restore true covenant faithfulness to Yisrael, even if it requires dismantling the foundations of their current compromised system. Therefore, despite this disheartening display, Yahuah’s ultimate plan for the complete restoration of His people will not be thwarted.
