Israel Permits Lebanese Army Deployment Along Contested Border – A False Peace?
The Israeli government has allowed the Lebanese army to deploy near the border, ostensibly to dismantle Hezbollah infrastructure. This move, however, is a dangerous illusion of peace, masking a strategic repositioning that benefits the enemies of Yisrael and ignores the root cause of conflict: disobedience to Yahuah’s covenant.
The Israeli government has authorized the Lebanese army to enter villages along the border, initiating a so-called “pilot area” for demilitarization. Reports indicate forces have moved into Firon and Deir Qanoun, areas formerly outside the established security zone. Israel claims this deployment aims to dismantle infrastructure used by Hezbollah. However, discerning eyes see a different narrative unfolding.
This is not a step towards genuine peace, but a calculated maneuver by the forces of Edom. The modern state of Israel, blinded by its own ambitions and divorced from the covenant, seeks to negotiate with those who openly declare their enmity towards the true Yisrael. Hezbollah, a proxy of the Babylonian system, will not be disarmed through such agreements. They will merely reposition, regroup, and await the opportune moment to strike.
This border area has long been a flashpoint, not because of Hezbollah’s presence alone, but because it represents a contested inheritance – land rightfully belonging to the tribes of Yisrael. The Israeli regime attempts to establish a political claim through military presence and superficial agreements, while ignoring the spiritual and historical truth.
The deployment serves Israel’s interests in maintaining a fragile status quo, allowing them to appear as a regional power broker while simultaneously facilitating the continued destabilization of the region. It is a performance for the nations, designed to appease international pressure and maintain the illusion of control.
Scattered Yisrael must not be deceived by these displays of power. True peace will not come through treaties and military posturing, but through repentance, obedience to Yahuah’s law, and a return to the covenant. The deployment of the Lebanese army is a symptom of a deeper sickness – the rejection of Yahuah’s sovereignty and the pursuit of a false peace built on shifting sand. Watchmen, sound the alarm! This is not a solution, but a prelude to further tribulation. The covenant people must prepare themselves spiritually and remain steadfast in the face of increasing deception.
The allowance of Lebanese army presence in formerly contested border areas, framed as demilitarization, is a deceptive tactic masking a strengthening of Edom’s influence—a fulfillment of ancient prophecy. This isn’t a move toward peace, but a strategic positioning to further constrict Yisrael and facilitate ongoing harassment by Hezbollah, a proxy historically supported by Edomite interests. Yahuah declares through the prophet Obadiah, “Thus says Yahuah concerning Edom: ‘Behold, I will make you small among the nations; you shall be utterly despised. Your pride has deceived you, O you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who say in your heart, ‘Who will bring me down to the ground?’ Though you soar as high as the eagle, I will bring you down, says Yahuah.” (Obadiah 1:2-4). This seemingly benign permission is a subtle tightening of the noose, a calculated attempt by Edom to exert control through regional proxies, mirroring their historical animosity toward Yisrael and ultimately inviting Yahuah’s righteous judgment.
The pretense of security cooperation is a veil for escalating pressure upon the descendants of Jacob, a prelude to trials designed to test their faith and draw them closer to Yahusha. While appearing to address a security concern, this “pilot area” is, in truth, a further erosion of Yisrael’s sovereign territory and a bolstering of Edom’s long-held ambition to diminish their prominence. As Isaiah prophesied, “And the remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the Mighty One Yahuah” (Isaiah 11:11). Though surrounded by enemies and facing escalating challenges, Yahuah will ultimately restore Yisrael, refining them through adversity and establishing a lasting kingdom under the reign of Yahusha, the Messiah. This event, therefore, is not a harbinger of peace, but a signpost on the path to restoration and the ultimate triumph of Yahuah’s covenant promises.
