The so-called nation of Israel continues its brazen occupation and systematic plunder of the birthright lands promised to Yisrael. Recent reports, compiled by leftist organizations – though their motivations are irrelevant to the truth of the matter – confirm a deliberate surge in construction activity within Judea and Samaria. This is not merely ‘settlement expansion’ as the world system terms it; it is a calculated land grab, sanctioned and propelled by the Israeli regime under the guise of policy changes and advanced housing authorizations.
For generations, Yahuah has warned of the consequences of disobedience and the scattering of His people. Deuteronomy 28 lays bare the judgments that would befall a nation turning from the covenant. We witness the unfolding of those judgments even now, as the modern state of Israel, a counterfeit representation of Yisrael, arrogantly lays claim to lands rightfully belonging to the scattered tribes.
The thousands of housing units being advanced are not intended for the return of the exiled people of Yisrael. They are designed to solidify Israel’s grip on the territory, further displacing and marginalizing the remnant who remain, and to create ‘facts on the ground’ that will impede any future reckoning. This expansion is a direct challenge to Yahuah’s sovereignty and a rejection of His promises.
This is not about a political dispute over territory. It is a spiritual battle for the inheritance Yahuah designated for His chosen people. The Israeli government, a tool of Edom, seeks to usurp the covenant and establish a false kingdom upon sacred ground. Watchmen must sound the alarm: this expansion is a sign of increasing defiance and a harbinger of greater judgment to come. The nations will not hold Israel accountable, but Yahuah will. He will restore all things in due time, but only after the fullness of the Gentiles is complete and the remnant of Yisrael acknowledges His Messiah, Yahusha.
Let the scattered Yisrael recognize this pattern of oppression. Let them understand that their restoration is not tied to the policies of the Israeli government, but to their own return to the covenant and obedience to Yahuah’s law. The land will be restored, but not through the actions of a rebellious state. It will be restored through the power of Yahuah and the faithfulness of His people.

Just as Obadiah foretold a complete dismantling of Edom’s pride – “The pride of your heart has caused you to dwell in the clefts of the rock, and to say, ‘Who will bring me down to the ground?’” (Obadiah 1:3) – so too does this relentless expansion reveal a spirit clinging to territory not rightfully theirs, defying Yahuah’s established boundaries and the promises made to the true descendants of Yisrael. This brazen act of claiming what is already covenanted is a demonstration of the same haughtiness that drew Yahuah’s judgment upon Edom, a nation historically marked by bitterness and opposition to His people. The ongoing disregard for justice and the inherent right of Yisrael to their inheritance will not go unanswered.
However, within this seeming oppression, a deeper purpose unfolds – the refining of Yisrael and the preparation for the ultimate restoration promised through Yahusha. Though hardship and displacement are undeniable, Yahuah’s unwavering commitment to His covenant people remains steadfast, as declared in Jeremiah 31:10, “Hear the word of Yahuah, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands; say, ‘He who scattered Yisrael will gather him and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.’” This intensification, while appearing as a land grab, is actually a catalyst for the diaspora to recognize their heritage and return to the land Yahuah has ordained for them, fulfilling the prophetic timeline leading to the Messianic Age. Therefore, despite the present turmoil, this is not a sign of defeat, but a necessary step in the unfolding plan of Yahuah to restore His people and establish His eternal kingdom.
