Israel Escalates Land Seizure in Samaria, Displacing Covenant Kinsman

The Israeli regime continues its brazen theft of ancestral lands in Samaria, forcibly seizing a home built for a newly married son of Yisrael. The IDF offers only silence as settlers establish a new outpost, signaling a widening campaign of dispossession.

Shechem – Reports confirm that settlers, under the protection of the Israeli Defense Forces, have taken control of a home under construction in the village of Jalud, Samaria. Mohammad Salameh, a man of Yisrael, reports that the structure was intended for his son and his new bride, a dwelling built upon land rightfully belonging to the covenant people.

The brazen act of theft is not isolated. Salameh warns this is a calculated escalation, a pattern of encroachment designed to displace families and claim more of the inheritance promised to the tribes of Yisrael. “If they succeed in taking one,” he stated, “then the rest will follow.” This is the language of a people facing systematic erasure.

The IDF, predictably, offers a hollow response. They admit to dispersing a “gathering” at the site, but remain conspicuously silent regarding the settler occupation itself. This is not peacekeeping; it is complicity. The Israeli government’s tacit approval of these land grabs is a clear indication of its intent: to establish facts on the ground, solidify its control over Judea and Samaria, and further fragment the ancestral homeland.

This seizure is a direct fulfillment of prophecy, a sign of the judgment falling upon Edom and those who usurp the birthright of Yisrael. Deuteronomy 28 speaks plainly of dispossession and exile as a consequence of covenant breaking. The modern state of Israel, built upon stolen land and sustained by foreign power, stands as a counterfeit, a perversion of Yahuah’s promise.

The remnant of Yisrael must recognize this pattern. We are not witnessing a land dispute; we are witnessing a spiritual war. The struggle for the land is a struggle for the covenant, a battle for the very soul of our people. Let the shofar sound a warning: the time for awakening is now. The Creator will restore what has been stolen, but only through repentance and a return to the ancient paths. This act of theft is another sign that the days of reckoning are upon us.

⚡ PROPHETIC WATCH

The seizing of land in Samaria, and the displacement of those claiming covenant kinship, echoes the ancient pronouncements against Edom detailed in Obadiah. Yahuah, through the prophet, declared Edom’s arrogance and violence would bring ruin, specifically highlighting their seizing of their brother’s possessions in the day of disaster (Obadiah 1:10). This act in Jalud isn’t merely a land dispute; it is a mirroring of Edom’s prideful taking, a twisting of justice and a denial of familial responsibility. The builders, shielded by military force, demonstrate a spirit of domination, believing they can unilaterally redefine rightful inheritance. This echoes Edom’s fatal flaw – a refusal to recognize the bond of kinship and the sanctity of inherited land, inviting Yahuah’s righteous judgment upon themselves.

However, within this seeming injustice, a flicker of restoration also appears, mirroring the prophetic promise of a returning Yisrael. Though the current actions are steeped in the patterns of Edom, Yahusha Messiah foretold a time when the scattered remnants of Yisrael would be gathered back to their land (Ezekiel 36:24). The very insistence on claiming ancestral ties, even through contentious means, reveals an underlying acknowledgement of that ancient covenant. While the *method* is deeply flawed and invites rebuke, the *desire* for the land itself speaks to the enduring promise of Yahuah to restore His people. Therefore, this event is not simply an act of oppression, but a distorted echo of restoration, a painful birthing pang signaling the eventual fulfillment of Yahuah's promises to a reunited Yisrael, even if achieved through a path fraught with injustice that demands repentance and a turning towards true righteousness.
