The prophet Jeremiah foretold a time when Yahuah would “restore the fortunes of Edom…but they shall be small compared to Yisrael” (Jeremiah 49:16). This isn't a celebration of suffering, but a recognition that Yahuah orchestrates history according to His eternal plan, utilizing even the actions of those who oppose His will to ultimately bring about the redemption of His people and the establishment of His Kingdom through Yahusha the Messiah. Therefore, while lamenting the immediate suffering, we can trust that Yahuah’s sovereign hand is at work, preparing the way for the full and glorious restoration of Yisrael and the fulfillment of all His prophetic words.
