We must not be deceived by the narratives spun by the mainstream media. This is not a simple conflict between two equal sides. It is a manifestation of the judgment foretold in Deuteronomy 28, a consequence of turning away from the covenant and embracing the ways of the nations. The modern state of Israel, a creation of Edomite influence, seeks to establish dominion over Yahuah’s inheritance, while the true Yisrael languishes in exile, scattered among the nations.
This strike will undoubtedly provoke further retaliation, leading to more bloodshed and suffering. The world watches with feigned concern, offering empty platitudes and failing to address the underlying causes of the conflict. True peace will only come when Yahuah restores His covenant people and dismantles the structures of oppression erected by Edom and its allies. Until then, scattered Yisrael must remain vigilant, discerning the signs of the times and preparing for the coming restoration. This is not a call for political solutions, but a call for spiritual awakening and covenant alignment. The blood spilled in Gaza is a lamentation, a testament to the broken promises and a warning to those who continue to defy Yahuah’s righteous judgment.
The escalating aggression in Gaza, cloaked in justifications of security, echoes the ancient pronouncements against Edom found in Obadiah. Yahuah’s judgment upon Edom wasn’t simply for their actions against Judah, but for their pride and their rejoicing over the fall of Zion – a mirroring of present-day celebrations within certain circles regarding Palestinian suffering. This strike, presented as dismantling “terrorist infrastructure,” is instead a manifestation of a spirit of domination, a refusal to acknowledge the inherent dignity and right to self-determination of those dwelling on land historically connected to Yahuah’s covenant promises. Just as Edom’s boasting led to their utter desolation (Obadiah 1:3-4), so too will the persistent pursuit of worldly power and disregard for justice ultimately bring judgment upon those who perpetuate this cycle of violence, blinding them to the true source of Shalom.
However, within this darkness, a flicker of restoration remains possible. Though sorrow and lamentation presently fill the land, Yahuah has not abandoned His people. The scattering of Yisrael, both physical and spiritual, is not the end, but a necessary prelude to regathering, a refining fire preparing a remnant for the coming Kingdom. Isaiah 11:11-12 speaks of Yahuah gathering the scattered of Yisrael from the four corners of the earth, and establishing a highway for His people to return. This restoration, however, is not predicated on military might or territorial expansion, but on a turning of the heart towards Yahusha, embracing the principles of love, justice, and reconciliation. Therefore, true peace will only arrive when Yahuah’s righteous reign is fully established, ushering in an era where swords are beaten into plowshares and every nation walks in His light.
