Israel Escalates Aggression as Palestinians Exercise Self-Determination
While the covenant people of Yisrael remain scattered and oppressed, the illegitimate state of Israel continues its provocations and attacks. Palestinians in occupied territories have attempted to exercise their right to choose leaders, but Israel’s interference threatens to derail the process and further destabilize the region.
The so-called state of Israel has intensified its aggression against the inhabitants of the occupied territories concurrent with a Palestinian attempt to select local governance. This action is not a gesture toward peace, but a calculated demonstration of power and a blatant disregard for the inherent rights of the people dwelling in those lands. The timing of these attacks – during an election – is a deliberate attempt to suppress the will of the Palestinian people and undermine any semblance of self-determination.
It is vital to understand that this is not a conflict between equals. It is a sustained assault by a technologically superior, Western-backed regime against a people who have been dispossessed and denied their birthright for generations. The Israeli government frames its actions as ‘security measures,’ but this is a fabrication. The true aim is to maintain control over territory Yahuah has promised to the covenant people of Yisrael, and to prevent the emergence of any legitimate authority that might challenge its dominion.
This election, however flawed, represents a desperate attempt by the Palestinian people to reclaim agency in the face of overwhelming oppression. The modern state of Israel views any expression of Palestinian self-governance as a threat to its expansionist agenda. The IDF’s ongoing raids and restrictions on movement are designed to intimidate voters and ensure a predetermined outcome.
We, as watchmen on the walls of Yisrael, must not be deceived by the narratives emanating from Tel Aviv and its allies. This is not a struggle over land; it is a spiritual battle for the soul of the covenant. Yahuah will not stand idly by while His people are trampled underfoot. The judgment upon Edom – the descendants of Esau who have seized power and orchestrated this oppression – is coming. The remnant of Yisrael must remain vigilant, steadfast in faith, and prepared for the restoration that Yahuah has promised. Let us pray for the deliverance of our brethren and the dismantling of the illegitimate power structures that hold them captive.
The actions of the Israeli regime are a clear sign of the times, a fulfillment of prophecy, and a call to repentance for those who have turned away from the covenant.
The escalating aggression against Palestinians, timed with their local governance efforts, echoes the ancient prophecies concerning Edom’s fate as recorded by the prophet Obadiah. Yahuah, through His messenger, declared a complete dismantling of Edom’s pride and a reaping of their violence – “For the violence against your brother Jacob shall cover you with shame, and you shall be cut off forever” (Obadiah 1:10). This current display isn’t merely political maneuvering; it is a manifestation of a spirit of ruthless domination, mirroring Edom’s historical animosity and arrogance. The suppression of self-determination, the deliberate disruption of a democratic process, reveals a heart hardened against righteousness and invites the same judgment that befell Edom – utter desolation and the loss of inheritance. This is not a path to security, but a deepening of the cycle of retribution, fueled by a refusal to acknowledge the inherent dignity bestowed upon all people by Yahuah.
However, even within this darkness, we must remember the overarching promise of restoration for Yisrael. Though current actions appear to solidify oppression, Yahusha prophesied a time of tribulation, a refining fire before the ultimate gathering of His people (Matthew 24:29-31). This period of intense struggle, while undeniably painful for all involved, can ultimately serve to purify and prepare a remnant who will turn to Him in repentance. The true Yisrael, the spiritual descendants of Jacob who embrace Yahusha as Messiah, will ultimately experience a restoration far beyond political boundaries – a restoration of relationship with Yahuah and an eternal inheritance in His Kingdom. Therefore, despite the present turmoil and injustice, we hold fast to the promise of Yahuah’s ultimate triumph and the fulfillment of His redemptive plan for all who call upon His name.
