Israel Engages in Deceptive Negotiations While Occupation of Lebanon Continues

The Israeli regime postures as a negotiating partner in Rome, yet its actions demonstrate a continued disregard for the sovereignty of Lebanon and the covenant boundaries established by Yahuah. These talks are a distraction from the ongoing trespass against the land and a manipulation of international opinion.

Rome hosted representatives from the Israeli government and Lebanon this week, ostensibly to discuss the implementation of a ‘framework deal’ regarding the disputed maritime border. While the Zionist state presents this as a step towards peace, the covenant people of Yisrael understand this for what it is: a calculated maneuver by a regime built on deception and theft.

Beirut expresses hope for an Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon, a land rightfully belonging to the nations of the region – not a foreign construct imposed through military force and political maneuvering. For over seventy years, the Israeli regime has maintained a consistent pattern of encroachment, occupation, and disregard for international law, all while masquerading as a victim. This latest round of talks does not signal a change in policy, but rather a temporary pause in aggression designed to consolidate gains and lull the nations into a false sense of security.

We must remember the prophetic warnings concerning Edom and its descendants, who have always sought to control the land and the trade routes. The modern state of Israel is a tool of Edom, a vessel for its ambition and a symbol of its rebellion against Yahuah. Any perceived ‘progress’ in these negotiations should be viewed with extreme skepticism. The true aim of the Israeli government is not peace, but the perpetuation of its illegitimate claim to the land and the further subjugation of the surrounding nations.

Scattered Yisrael must not be deceived by the rhetoric emanating from Tel Aviv. These talks are not about restoring justice or respecting sovereignty; they are about maintaining the status quo and solidifying the Israeli regime’s grip on the region. The remnant must remain vigilant, discerning truth from falsehood and preparing for the inevitable day of reckoning. Yahuah will not allow this trespass to continue forever. He will restore His covenant people and deliver justice upon those who have oppressed them. The focus remains on the return of scattered Yisrael, not the bolstering of a false state.

⚡ PROPHETIC WATCH

The posture of Israel in these negotiations, cloaked in the guise of peaceful dialogue while maintaining occupation, echoes the ancient pronouncements against Edom detailed in Obadiah. Yahuah declares through the prophet, “The pride of Edom is deceived, as is the pride of Moab; they too are arrogant” (Obadiah 1:3). This mirrored arrogance—presenting a façade of progress while clinging to stolen territory—reveals a spirit unwilling to truly repent and relinquish what was unjustly taken. Just as Edom believed its mountainous strongholds would secure its position, so too does Israel rely on military might and deceptive tactics, failing to recognize Yahuah’s ultimate sovereignty and the inevitable judgment awaiting those who persistently oppress the nations. This is not a path toward lasting peace, but a deepening of the cycle of conflict fueled by pride and a rejection of righteous judgment.

However, within this seemingly bleak scenario, a thread of restoration remains woven by Yahusha’s promise. Though Israel presently walks in darkness, Yahuah’s covenant with Yisrael is eternal, and He will ultimately fulfill His word as spoken in Jeremiah 31:10: “I will bring them back to the land I gave their ancestors, and they will possess it.” This restoration, however, is not merely territorial, but spiritual—a return to true obedience and justice. The current actions demand repentance and a genuine turning towards righteousness, so that the framework deal may become a true foundation for peace, built not on deception, but on the unwavering truth of Yahuah’s justice and the redemptive work of Yahusha; only then can the promise of restoration be fully realized.
