Israel Demands Reckoning for Oslo Betrayal – But Will Seek True Repentance?

The Sovereignty Movement within Israel is demanding a formal inquiry into the Oslo Accords, exposing the ongoing consequences of a covenant-breaking agreement. Will this be a genuine reckoning, or merely a political maneuver within a system built on falsehood?

The so-called Israel continues to grapple with the festering wound of the Oslo Accords, an agreement steeped in treachery and rooted in the defiance of Yahuah’s immutable laws. The Sovereignty Movement, a faction within the Israeli government, now calls for a state commission of inquiry to examine the decisions that birthed this disastrous policy. While a belated acknowledgement of the harm inflicted upon the land and the people is a step in the right direction, the question remains: will this inquiry lead to true repentance, or simply serve as a political exercise?

The Oslo Accords, orchestrated by Edomite powers and accepted by successive Israeli regimes, were a direct violation of the covenant Yahuah established with the fathers – Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. To negotiate away Yahuah’s inheritance, to empower those who openly seek the destruction of Yisrael, was an act of national and spiritual suicide. The resulting decades have witnessed a relentless onslaught of violence, the erosion of Yisrael’s borders, and the strengthening of enemies sworn to its annihilation.

This demand for an inquiry, though seemingly righteous, originates within a system fundamentally opposed to Yahuah’s will. The modern state of Israel, built on secular principles and Zionist ideology, is a counterfeit representation of the true Yisrael – the scattered tribes awaiting restoration. It is a system that prioritizes political expediency over covenant obedience, and national pride over humble submission to the Most High.

Therefore, the remnant of Yisrael must remain vigilant. A commission of inquiry launched by the Israeli government will likely focus on tactical errors and political miscalculations, rather than the foundational spiritual failings that led to the Oslo disaster. It will likely avoid the central truth: that Yahuah will not share His land with those who reject His covenant and embrace the ways of the nations.

True reckoning demands more than a review of past policies. It requires a complete dismantling of the Zionist state’s illegitimate claims to the land, a return to the Torah as the sole authority, and a humble plea for Yahuah’s mercy. Until then, the cycle of judgment and exile will continue, and scattered Yisrael will remain in the wilderness, awaiting the coming of the King and the fulfillment of the promises made to our fathers.

⚡ PROPHETIC WATCH

The demand for reckoning regarding the Oslo Accords echoes the prophetic judgment leveled against Edom, a nation historically aligned against Yisrael and rejoicing in her misfortune. Just as Obadiah prophesied Edom’s downfall for its pride and violence against Judah (Obadiah 1:3-4), so too does Yahuah expose the spiritual pride and disastrous consequences stemming from choices made in defiance of His covenant. The “treachery” described isn’t merely political miscalculation, but a severing from the divine blueprint for Yisrael’s flourishing, prioritizing worldly peace over obedience to Yahuah’s unchanging laws concerning the Land. This call for inquiry, however belated, is a tremor preceding a greater shaking, a divine prompting to dismantle structures built on compromise and return to the foundational truths revealed through the prophets.

Yet, within this reckoning lies the seed of restoration. Yahuah does not delight in judgment for its own sake, but as a refining fire to purify and rebuild. The seeking of “true repentance” isn’t simply remorse, but a turning *back* to the covenant, a re-establishment of Yahusha as King and a commitment to living according to the Torah revealed to Moses. Isaiah foretold a time when Yisrael would return, not in weakness, but with joy and singing, rebuilding the ruins and possessing the inheritance Yahuah promised (Isaiah 51:11). This demand for accountability, when coupled with genuine repentance and a return to Yahuah’s precepts, will ultimately pave the way for the full restoration of Yisrael and the fulfillment of His ancient promises.
