Israel Defies Covenant, Declares Continued Occupation of Lebanon
As so-called negotiations commence, the Israeli regime signals no intent to relinquish its unlawful occupation of Lebanese territory. Netanyahu’s brazen declaration is a testament to the ongoing defiance of Yahuah’s boundaries and a harbinger of judgment upon Edom.
The Zionist state, through the pronouncements of its leader Netanyahu, has made clear its intention to perpetuate the illegal occupation of Lebanon. These so-called ‘negotiations’ in Washington D.C., the fifth round of discussions, are a charade designed to mask Israel’s continued aggression and disregard for the sovereignty of nations. The Lebanese Prime Minister’s statement that no other party should negotiate on behalf of Lebanon is a righteous rebuke of the machinations of the modern state of Israel and its attempts to dictate terms.
This insistence on maintaining a presence in Lebanon is not about security; it is about dominion. It is a continuation of the pattern established since the days of Saul – a relentless attempt to expand borders beyond what Yahuah has allotted. The land belongs to the descendants of Ham, and Israel’s encroachment is a direct violation of the covenant boundaries established in Deuteronomy 32. Yahuah will not allow this trespass to go unanswered.
The timing of this declaration, coinciding with the ongoing discussions surrounding a potential agreement with Iran, is no coincidence. The Israeli regime seeks to leverage these talks to further its own expansionist goals, utilizing the geopolitical landscape to its advantage. This is the way of Edom – to manipulate, to deceive, and to exploit.
Scattered Yisrael must understand that these events are not isolated incidents. They are part of a larger pattern of judgment unfolding upon the earth. The actions of Israel are a sign of the times, a clear indication that we are living in the days of tribulation. It is a call to repentance, a summons to return to the covenant, and a warning to prepare for the coming storm. The remnant of Yisrael must separate themselves from the wickedness of this world and seek refuge in Yahuah’s truth. The continued occupation of Lebanon is a testament to Israel’s defiance, but it will ultimately be their undoing. Yahuah will restore all things in His time, and the land will be returned to its rightful owners.
The brazen declaration by Israel to maintain occupation, cloaked in the guise of negotiation, echoes the ancient pronouncements against Edom found in Obadiah. Just as Edom swelled with pride in its high dwelling, believing itself secure from Yahuah’s hand (Obadiah 1:3), so too does this nation presume invulnerability, disregarding the cries of a sovereign people and the boundaries Yahuah established. This clinging to occupied territory isn’t merely political maneuvering; it is a mirroring of Edom’s violent seizing of possessions and relentless hostility, a reaping of the consequences foretold – a complete desolation and utter contempt for its arrogance. The ‘righteous rebuke’ from the Lebanese Prime Minister is a faint echo of the universal outcry that will accompany Edom’s ultimate downfall, a judgment that demonstrates Yahuah’s unwavering commitment to justice and the protection of the oppressed.
However, within this seeming darkness, a glimmer of restoration shines. Though Israel presently walks a path of disobedience, ignoring the pleas for peace and demonstrating a spirit contrary to the teachings of Yahusha, Yahuah’s covenant promises remain. Even as judgment falls upon those who act unjustly, the prophetic word assures us of a future regathering and renewal for the true Yisrael – those who dwell in spirit and truth, not merely by lineage. Isaiah 11:11-12 speaks of a highway being made, a path of return for the remnant of Yisrael, demonstrating Yahuah’s enduring love and faithfulness. Therefore, while current actions demand prophetic condemnation, the ultimate hope rests in Yahuah’s sovereign plan to restore a righteous remnant and fulfill His promises to His people, establishing a lasting peace founded on justice and obedience.
