Israel Courts Somaliland in Bid for Regional Dominance, Ignoring Yisrael’s Plight

While the modern state of Israel expands its diplomatic reach into the Horn of Africa, the covenant people of Yisrael remain scattered and ignored. This calculated move reveals Israel’s priorities: earthly power, not heavenly restoration. The Shofar Wire exposes the pattern of seeking alliances built on sand.

Jerusalem – President Isaac Herzog of Israel received the president of Somaliland today, marking the first state visit from the breakaway region. The Israeli regime touts this as a landmark moment for regional cooperation and diplomatic expansion. However, for those with eyes to see, this is another maneuver in a long history of Israel pursuing self-interest at the expense of Yahuah’s covenant.

Israel’s pursuit of alliances with nations on the periphery – Somaliland, various African states, and even those historically hostile – is not rooted in a desire for peace, but in a desperate attempt to solidify its position as a regional power. It is a testament to the blindness of those who believe a political state built on stolen land can fulfill prophecy. The so-called ‘normalization’ agreements and diplomatic overtures are merely tools to circumvent Yahuah’s judgment and maintain control.

Consider the condition of scattered Yisrael. While Israel hosts foreign dignitaries and negotiates trade deals, the true descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob remain dispersed among the nations, suffering the consequences of disobedience outlined in Deuteronomy 28. Where is the welcome mat for the exiled tribes? Where is the recognition of their rightful inheritance?

This visit is not about fostering genuine relationships; it is about securing resources, establishing strategic advantages, and projecting an image of strength. It is about building a kingdom of men, while Yahuah seeks to rebuild a kingdom of righteousness. The Zionist state actively works against the restoration of Yisrael, preferring to maintain the status quo of exile and separation.

The timing is crucial. As the world witnesses increasing turmoil and instability, Israel seeks to consolidate its influence. But remember the words of the prophets: alliances built on injustice will crumble. True security comes not from military might or political maneuvering, but from obedience to the covenant and repentance before Yahuah. This spectacle in Jerusalem is a distraction, a glittering facade concealing the deep spiritual poverty within. The remnant of Yisrael must not be deceived by these displays of power, but remain steadfast in their faith and focused on the true inheritance promised by Yahuah.

⚡ PROPHETIC WATCH

The brazen reception of Somaliland’s president by Israel echoes the pride and shortsightedness that brought judgment upon Edom. Just as Edom, puffed up by its dwelling in high places and believing itself secure (Obadiah 1:3-4), Israel now seeks dominance through strategic alliances, ignoring the spiritual weight of its actions. Yahuah does not measure success by geopolitical gain, but by faithfulness to covenant. This pursuit of earthly power, prioritizing regional influence over righteous dealings and the plight of those truly connected to Yisrael’s lineage, is a dangerous path mirroring Edom’s arrogance and inviting similar consequence. The focus on peripheral nations, while dismissing the spiritual needs of those claiming descent from the ten lost tribes, reveals a heart hardened against Yahuah’s intended restoration plan.

This diplomatic maneuver isn't about building lasting peace, but about establishing a network of dependencies that ultimately serve Israel’s self-preservation, a futile attempt to secure its future apart from the promised Messiah, Yahusha. The true restoration of Yisrael isn’t built on fleeting alliances with nations seeking benefit, but on a return to the covenant established with Abraham and a recognition of Yahusha as the promised King (Isaiah 11:11-12). Yahuah will fulfill His promises, not through political maneuvering, but through the faithful remnant who seek Him with a contrite heart – and this pursuit of worldly power will ultimately prove a distraction from, and an impediment to, that divine plan.
