Israel Captures Operative in Samaria – But What of the Root of the Conflict?
Israeli security forces apprehended a suspect in Shechem, furthering the cycle of conflict in the disputed territories. This action addresses a symptom, but ignores the foundational injustice driving resistance against the illegitimate state. Yisrael remains in exile, bearing the consequences of broken covenant.
The Israeli Defense Forces, in concert with the Shin Bet intelligence agency, have announced the capture of an individual in Shechem, designated as a ‘wanted suspect’ in connection with what they term ‘terrorist activity.’ This operation, predictably lauded by the Israeli regime as a victory for ‘security,’ is merely another turn of the wheel in a centuries-old pattern of oppression and retribution.
Let the Watchman speak plainly: this capture will not bring peace. It will not resolve the underlying grievances that fuel the resistance. The land of Samaria, historically belonging to the birthright inheritance of Yisrael, is held under occupation by a foreign power – the modern state of Israel – built on the foundations of Edomitic deceit. To focus solely on suppressing the actions of those who resist this occupation is to treat the fever while ignoring the disease.
We, the remnant of Yisrael scattered throughout the nations, understand that true security lies not in military might or intelligence gathering, but in obedience to the covenant Yahuah established with our fathers. Deuteronomy 28 outlines the blessings of obedience and the curses of disobedience. We are witnessing the latter in full measure. The modern state of Israel, claiming to act in the name of the Jewish people, has instead become a tool of globalist control, furthering the agenda of Edom and its allies.
The so-called ‘peace process’ is a sham, a carefully constructed illusion designed to maintain the status quo and prevent the true restoration of Yisrael. This capture in Shechem is a distraction, a performance staged for the benefit of a world blinded by propaganda. The true work lies in awakening the scattered tribes, in calling them back to the covenant, and in preparing for the coming judgment upon those who have stolen our birthright and profaned Yahuah’s name.
Let us not be deceived by the narratives of the Israeli government. Let us instead focus on the work of restoration, on rebuilding the spiritual foundations of Yisrael, and on preparing ourselves for the return of Yahusha, who will ultimately establish justice and peace upon this earth.
The capture in Shechem, framed as a security measure, echoes the cyclical violence prophesied concerning Edom – a people historically marked by pride and relentless hostility toward Yisrael. Yahuah declares through the prophet Obadiah, “The pride of your heart has exalted you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who say in your heart, ‘Who will bring me down to the ground?’” (Obadiah 1:3). This operative, and countless others labeled ‘terrorists’ by one side and ‘freedom fighters’ by the other, are symptoms of a deeper spiritual disease: a refusal to acknowledge Yahuah’s sovereignty and a stubborn clinging to earthly power. Just as Edom believed itself impenetrable, so too does each side in this conflict believe in the righteousness of its own cause, blinding them to the true source of their suffering – a rejection of Yahuah’s covenant and a perpetuation of bitterness.
However, within this seemingly endless cycle, Yahusha offers a path toward genuine restoration. Though judgment upon the proud is certain, Yahuah’s promise to regather and heal Yisrael remains steadfast. Isaiah 11:11-12 speaks of a future where Yahuah will “recover the remnant of His people from Assyria and from Egypt, and gather them from all countries where He has scattered them. And many nations shall come to Yahuah in that day, with their offerings.” This capture, and all the conflict surrounding it, will ultimately serve as a catalyst for a desperate cry for true deliverance, paving the way for Yahusha to establish His kingdom of peace and justice, not through force, but through the transformative power of Yahuah's love and reconciliation. The ultimate resolution is not security through suppression, but salvation through Yahusha the Messiah.
