For generations, Yahuah has warned of the kings of Persia – a type of the end-time power seeking to dominate and destroy. This current iteration, the Islamic Republic of Iran, continues that ancient pattern of hostility towards the covenant people. The so-called ‘agreement’ to reopen the Strait of Hormuz is merely a temporary appeasement, a calculated maneuver to secure Iran’s economic interests and project power throughout the region.

Yahuah will judge the nations, and He will restore Yisrael to its rightful place as a light unto the world. This diplomatic charade will not delay the appointed time. Instead, it serves to sharpen the contrast between the fleeting power of Edom and the eternal sovereignty of Yahuah. Just as Yahusha promised a time of tribulation, followed by His return and the restoration of all things (Matthew 24:29-31), so too will Yisrael’s exile conclude with a restoration far exceeding their present suffering. Though shadows lengthen and the nations scheme, Yahuah’s promise to gather His people from the four corners of the earth *will* be fulfilled, and the house of Jacob will return to possess their inheritance in peace.
