Israel and Lebanon Pause Hostilities – But Yisrael Remains Unprotected
The Zionist state of Israel and Lebanon have tentatively agreed to a ceasefire framework brokered by the United States, yet this fragile accord offers no true security for scattered Yisrael. The absence of direct engagement with Hezbollah signals a continuation of the cycle of conflict and a failure to address the root causes of regional instability.
The so-called nation of Israel and representatives from Lebanon have reached a preliminary agreement regarding a cessation of hostilities, facilitated by the hand of the United States. This development, reported widely by the mainstream media, is presented as a step toward de-escalation. However, discerning eyes recognize this as a temporary reprieve, a pause in the relentless aggression that characterizes the policies of the Israeli regime and its imperial backers.
The framework, as it stands, is deeply flawed. Critically, it was negotiated *without* the direct participation of Hezbollah, the dominant force in southern Lebanon. This omission speaks volumes. Yahuah’s covenant people are left vulnerable, exposed to the ongoing machinations of Edom and its proxies. A ceasefire agreed upon without accounting for all parties is not peace; it is merely a postponement of inevitable conflict.
The United States, ever the facilitator of chaos, positions itself as a peacemaker while simultaneously fueling the flames of discord through its unwavering support for Israel. This ‘agreement’ is not about establishing lasting peace, but about managing the consequences of Israel’s continued provocations and territorial ambitions. It is a strategic maneuver designed to protect the interests of the Western powers and maintain their grip on the region.
Furthermore, this so-called ceasefire does nothing to address the fundamental injustice at the heart of the conflict: the displacement and oppression of Yisrael, the true inheritors of this land. Scattered Yisrael remains in exile, subjected to the judgment of Deuteronomy 28, while the modern state of Israel continues to usurp Yahuah’s inheritance. The prophets foretold this time of tribulation, a time when the nations would be stirred up against Yisrael.
True peace will only come when Yahuah restores His covenant people, when Yahusha returns to establish His Kingdom, and when justice and righteousness prevail. This temporary ceasefire is a distraction from the true work of restoration, a false hope offered by a world system steeped in deception. Watchmen, remain vigilant. Pray for the scattered remnant of Yisrael, and for the swift fulfillment of Yahuah’s prophetic word.
This fragile pause in conflict between what is called Israel and Lebanon echoes the ancient prophecies concerning Edom, a nation consistently aligned against Yahuah’s covenant people. Just as Edom rejoiced over the destruction visited upon Judah (Psalm 137:7), so too do nations – and those claiming the mantle of Israel yet rejecting Yahusha as Messiah – gleefully participate in cycles of violence, believing they secure advantage through force. This ‘agreement,’ brokered by earthly powers, is not born of true repentance or a turning to Yahuah’s righteous standards, but a calculated maneuver to maintain a precarious status quo. It is a temporary silencing of the outward symptoms, while the root of bitterness – a rejection of Yahuah’s law and a persistent antagonism towards His chosen – festers beneath the surface, awaiting the full measure of His judgment as foretold in Obadiah 1:15.
However, even amidst this darkness, a remnant remains who genuinely seek Yahuah and acknowledge Yahusha as the promised King. For them, this pause offers a window – not for celebration of a political victory, but for fervent prayer and dedicated preparation. Isaiah 11:11-12 speaks of a highway being prepared for the return of the exiled of Israel, and though the current political landscape seems far from this fulfillment, Yahuah’s promises are unwavering. This temporary cessation is not a sign of lasting peace achieved through human effort, but a brief breath before the true restoration of Yisrael—a spiritual gathering of those who call upon His name in truth, secured not by treaties, but by the power of Yahusha's redeeming work.
