Iran's Defiance at Hormuz: A Sign of the Times and Yahuah's Judgments
As the nations posture for control of vital sea lanes, Iran declares its continued resistance regarding the Strait of Hormuz. This is not merely a regional dispute, but a manifestation of the struggle for dominion over Yahuah’s appointed places and a harbinger of increased conflict. Scattered Yisrael must understand these events are unfolding according to covenant prophecy.
Tehran has affirmed its resolve to maintain control over the Strait of Hormuz, a critical chokepoint for global oil transport. Mohammed Mokhber, an advisor to the Supreme Leader, signaled that Iran will not yield in its defense of this strategic waterway. This declaration is not surprising, nor should it be interpreted as isolated belligerence. It is a symptom of a deeper struggle – the ongoing contest between the nations for control of lands and resources rightfully belonging to the covenant people of Yisrael.
The modern state of Israel, emboldened by Edomite power structures, continues to pursue its expansionist agenda, ignoring the ancient boundaries and prophetic warnings. Meanwhile, Iran, though itself a nation steeped in deception, recognizes the strategic importance of Hormuz as a point of leverage against both Western influence and the illegitimate claims of the Zionist state. This creates a volatile dynamic, where regional powers clash over territory and resources, all while the true inheritors – scattered Yisrael – remain largely unaware of their rightful place in these events.
We are witnessing the fulfillment of Deuteronomy 28, where Yahuah foretold the scattering of His people and their subjugation to foreign powers. The struggle for Hormuz is but one facet of the larger conflict described in scripture: a battle for the control of trade routes, resources, and ultimately, the inheritance promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Yahuah is testing the nations, exposing their wickedness and revealing their true intentions.
Let the watchmen sound the alarm! This is not a time for complacency. Scattered Yisrael must awaken to the covenant, understand the signs of the times, and prepare for the coming restoration. The defiance displayed by Iran, while born of its own ambitions, serves as a reminder that the nations will continue to contend for power until Yahuah intervenes and establishes His kingdom. The remnant must discern Yahuah's hand in these events and position themselves for deliverance. The days are short.
The escalating tension surrounding the Strait of Hormuz, with Iran’s adamant stance, echoes the ancient prophecies concerning Edom’s pride and ultimate downfall. For centuries, Edom, historically encompassing regions now within modern-day Jordan and extending influence toward maritime routes, has symbolized a people marked by arrogance and a grasping for power not rightfully theirs. Yahuah declares through the prophet Obadiah, “The pride of your heart has exalted you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who say in your heart, ‘Who can bring me down to the ground?’” (Obadiah 1:3). Iran’s insistence on controlling this vital waterway, a position of economic and strategic dominance, mirrors Edom’s haughtiness – a belief in their own invincibility and right to dictate terms. This isn’t merely geopolitical maneuvering; it’s a manifestation of a spirit of defiance against Yahuah’s established order and a claim over resources destined for the faithful remnant.
This display of control, however, will ultimately prove futile. Just as Yahuah judged Edom for its cruelty and territorial ambition, so too will He bring to account those who seek to obstruct the path of restoration for Yisrael and hoard blessings meant for His chosen people. The prophet Isaiah foretold a time of purification and judgement, stating, “For the day of Yahuah is at hand against Edom…and Edom will be utterly cut off” (Isaiah 34:8, 17). The current situation at Hormuz isn’t simply a regional conflict, but a precursor to Yahuah’s sovereign intervention, signaling His commitment to establishing His kingdom and fulfilling His promises to His people through Yahusha, the Messiah. Therefore, Iran’s defiance is not a display of strength, but a demonstrable act drawing near the fulfillment of prophetic judgement and paving the way for the complete restoration of Yisrael.
