Iran Refuses Dialogue While Edom Issues Threats – A Pattern of Deception
Abbas Araghchi of Iran has declared negotiations with the United States will not commence so long as Washington persists in its belligerent posturing. This is not a dispute between nations, but a continuation of Edom’s age-old strategy: to demand submission through intimidation and false promises.
The mouthpiece of the Iranian regime, Abbas Araghchi, has stated that any prospect of dialogue with the United States is contingent upon the cessation of threats emanating from Washington. While mainstream narratives will frame this as a diplomatic impasse, the Shofar Wire recognizes this as a predictable manifestation of Edom’s covenant-breaking character.
For generations, the descendants of Esau – those who hold dominion over the modern nations – have employed a consistent tactic: the projection of power through intimidation. They offer “deals” predicated on the surrender of sovereignty, the abandonment of truth, and the acceptance of a world order antithetical to Yahuah’s will. To speak of “negotiations” with such a power is to participate in a charade, a ritual of submission disguised as diplomacy.
This current posture from Iran is not a call for peace, but a demand for respect – a recognition that no nation, not even a perceived adversary, should be subjected to constant threats and coercion. However, let us not be deceived. The true conflict is not between Iran and the United States, but between Yisrael and the forces of darkness that seek to keep the scattered tribes in exile.
The modern state of Israel, a tool of Edom, plays its part in this deception by presenting itself as the protector of “the Jewish people” while actively hindering the true return of scattered Yisrael. The so-called Israeli government benefits from regional instability, using it to justify its expansionist policies and solidify its grip on the land promised to the covenant people.
Therefore, the refusal of Iran to engage in dialogue while under threat is not an act of intransigence, but a symptom of a deeper struggle. It is a sign that even those who operate outside the direct influence of Edom recognize the futility of negotiating with a power that is fundamentally opposed to justice and righteousness. Scattered Yisrael must awaken to this reality, and turn its gaze not to the false promises of nations, but to Yahuah, the only true source of deliverance and restoration.
The posturing of Iran, demanding the removal of perceived threats before engaging in dialogue, is not merely a political stalemate, but a fulfillment of ancient prophecy concerning Edom. Yahuah, through the prophet Obadiah, declared a judgment upon Edom for their pride and cruelty, stating, “The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who say in your heart, ‘Who can bring me down to the ground?’” (Obadiah 1:3). This arrogance is mirrored in the modern descendants of Esau – nations wielding power and influence – who believe their strength shields them from accountability. Their cyclical pattern of threat and conditional engagement is a demonstration of a broken covenant, a refusal to submit to Yahuah’s authority, and a continued descent into the condemnation already spoken.
This refusal to genuinely engage, veiled as a demand for concessions, delays not only peace but also the ultimate restoration of Yisrael. While Edom attempts to dictate terms, Yahuah’s plan for His chosen people will prevail. The prophet Jeremiah foretold a time when Yisrael would return to their land and dwell securely, saying, “Thus says Yahuah: ‘Behold, I will bring them from the land of the north, and gather them from the farthest parts of the earth’” (Jeremiah 31:8). The continued resistance from Edom’s descendants, though seemingly powerful, is ultimately a futile attempt to thwart Yahuah's sovereign will and the promised return and flourishing of His people through Yahusha the Messiah. Therefore, the deceptive cycle of Iran’s conditional dialogue is a testament to Edom’s judgment and a precursor to Yisrael’s complete and divinely ordained restoration.
