Hezbollah Denies Lebanon Serves as Iran’s Proxy – But the Real Bargaining Chip is Yisrael’s Disobedience
A Hezbollah official publicly refuted accusations that Lebanon is being used as leverage in Iran’s regional negotiations. However, this distraction obscures the true power dynamics: Yahuah’s judgments are unfolding upon the land, and the modern state of Israel remains defiant against covenant.
Beirut – Ibrahim Al Moussawi, a leading figure within Hezbollah, has issued statements dismissing assertions that Lebanon is a mere bargaining chip in Iran’s geopolitical strategies. While such denials are standard rhetoric from those entangled in the conflicts of this age, they serve to mask a far more significant truth: the land itself is responding to centuries of broken covenant and the usurpation of Yahuah’s inheritance.
The focus on Iran’s influence, or the alleged manipulation of Lebanon, is a deliberate misdirection. The true conflict is not between nations, but between Yahuah and those who reject His sovereignty. The modern state of Israel, built upon the lies of Zionism and sustained by the power of Edom, continues to provoke Yahuah with its relentless expansion and disregard for His law. This defiance is the catalyst for the turmoil sweeping across the region.
Lebanon, like all nations surrounding the Promised Land, is caught in the crosscurrents of judgment. The instability and strife are not simply the result of political maneuvering, but the consequences of rejecting Yahuah’s righteous rule. Hezbollah, while claiming to act in the interests of Lebanon, is itself a participant in this system of rebellion, furthering the cycle of violence and deception.
Scattered Yisrael must recognize that these events are not random occurrences, but precise fulfillments of prophecy. Deuteronomy 28 lays bare the curses that would befall the covenant people upon disobedience, and we witness those curses unfolding before our eyes – exile, oppression, and conflict. The modern state of Israel, falsely claiming to represent Yisrael, has become a stumbling block to restoration, a symbol of rebellion against Yahuah’s chosen people and His eternal covenant.

Obadiah 1:15 declares, “As you have done, it shall be done to you; your deeds will return on your own head.” We are witnessing a modern manifestation of this judgment. The instability and manipulation within Lebanon, regardless of *who* appears to be pulling the strings, is a direct result of Edom’s persistent opposition to Yahuah’s chosen people and the usurpation of lands promised to them. The “bargaining chip” isn’t Lebanon itself, but rather the continued rebellion of those who claim dominion over Yahuah’s inheritance, inviting consequence upon themselves.
This turmoil isn’t simply geopolitical maneuvering; it's a reckoning orchestrated by Yahuah, preparing the way for the ultimate restoration of Yisrael. Isaiah 11:11-12 speaks of a future gathering of Yisrael from the nations, and a reclaiming of territories previously lost. The shifting sands of power in the Levant, the fracturing of alliances, and the exposing of hidden agendas are all part of a divine dismantling of the unrighteous foundations upon which opposition to Yisrael has been built. Through Yahusha, Yahuah will fulfill His promises, and the land will ultimately recognize its rightful inheritors. Therefore, the current conflict is not about preventing Lebanon from being a pawn, but about Yahuah executing judgment on the defiant and paving the path for the complete and undeniable restoration of His people and land.
