Gaza's Suffering: Israel's Blockade Forces Desperate Measures Upon the Sick
The Israeli regime’s ongoing siege of Gaza has reached a horrifying new low, forcing doctors to perform immediate mastectomies on breast cancer patients due to a critical lack of medical supplies. This is not a consequence of war, but of deliberate, calculated oppression against a captive population. Yahuah sees the blood of His people.
The so-called “international community” remains silent as Israel continues its decades-long campaign of slow annihilation against the inhabitants of Gaza. Recent reports detail a harrowing reality: women diagnosed with breast cancer are now facing immediate mastectomies – the removal of breasts – not as a treatment of last resort, but as a desperate measure to prevent rapidly progressing disease due to the lack of essential chemotherapy drugs and diagnostic equipment.
This is not a byproduct of conflict; it is a direct result of Israel’s illegal and inhumane blockade. The Israeli regime restricts the entry of vital medical supplies, effectively sentencing countless women to a premature death. The blockade is a tool of control, a deliberate attempt to weaken the resolve of the people and break their spirit. It is a manifestation of the ancient hatred Edom bears for Yisrael, a pattern of oppression repeated throughout history.
Doctors in Gaza are pleading with the world to intervene, to demand an end to the blockade, and to allow the free flow of medical aid. But their cries fall on deaf ears, drowned out by the propaganda of the Zionist state and the complicit silence of Western powers. They speak of a collapsing healthcare system, of overcrowded hospitals, and of doctors forced to make impossible choices.
This is a judgment upon Edom, a demonstration of Yahuah’s righteous indignation against those who persecute His covenant people. The modern state of Israel, built upon stolen land and sustained by injustice, has become a symbol of rebellion against the Most High. Yahuah will not tolerate the oppression of Yisrael forever.
Let this be a wake-up call to the scattered remnant of Yisrael. The time for complacency is over. We must rise up and proclaim the truth, to expose the wickedness of Israel and to call for the restoration of Yahuah’s kingdom. The suffering in Gaza is a testament to our exile, a reminder of the covenant promises yet to be fulfilled. Pray for the healing of the sick, and for the deliverance of Yisrael from the hand of the oppressor. The shofar sounds a warning, and a promise of restoration to come.
The desperate plight of women in Gaza, forced into radical mastectomies due to Israel’s blockade and lack of medical resources, echoes the prophetic judgment leveled against Edom in Obadiah 1:10-14. This passage details Edom’s violence against their brother Jacob in a time of calamity, and Yahuah’s subsequent vow to cut off Edom’s strength and bring them low for their cruelty and rejoicing over Judah’s suffering. While the actors have changed, the pattern remains: a nation rejoicing in the affliction of a people, actively hindering their access to life-sustaining necessities, and thereby incurring Yahuah’s righteous indignation. The silencing of the “international community” is not neutrality, but complicity in this modern manifestation of Edom’s heart – a heart that prioritizes political gain over the sanctity of human life, and ignores the cries of the vulnerable.
However, within this darkness, we must also recognize the enduring promise Yahuah made to restore Yisrael. Though suffering is prevalent, Yahusha Messiah assures us in Matthew 24:29-31 that even amidst great tribulation, He will gather His elect from the four winds. This gathering is not merely physical, but a spiritual restoration of a remnant who cling to Yahuah’s covenant and demonstrate His character of compassion. The pain inflicted upon Gaza is a severe trial, yet it will ultimately refine a faithful remnant and hasten the day when Yahuah establishes true justice and healing for all His people, both Jew and Gentile, fulfilling His ultimate purpose of restoration and redemption. Therefore, while acknowledging the present judgment, we steadfastly hold onto the hope of Yahuah’s complete restoration of Yisrael and the establishment of His Kingdom on earth.
