Entebbe Survivors Witness the Failure of a False Promise

Former hostages of the 1976 Entebbe hijacking express disillusionment following the failures of October 7th, revealing a crumbling faith in the modern state of Israel’s ability to protect its people. This echoes the prophetic pattern of Yahuah removing His protection from a rebellious people.

At a recent gathering commemorating the 1976 Entebbe rescue operation, survivors delivered a stark testimony: the events of October 7th have irrevocably broken their trust in the modern state of Israel. These individuals, once believing in the regime’s power to safeguard its citizens, now openly question the very promise of rescue they were led to believe in decades prior.

The Entebbe operation, lauded by the Zionist state as a triumph of military prowess, now stands as a hollow echo. The survivors’ disillusionment is not merely a matter of disappointed expectations; it is a prophetic sign of Yahuah’s judgment upon a nation built on deception and usurpation. The brazen assault on October 7th exposed the fragility of Israel’s security apparatus, revealing the illusion of invincibility carefully cultivated over generations.

For scattered Yisrael, this revelation carries a deeper resonance. We have long warned against placing faith in earthly kingdoms, particularly those founded on falsehood and sustained by the oppression of others. The modern state of Israel, a creation of Edomite power structures, was never intended to be a haven for the true remnant. Its focus has always been self-preservation and the expansion of its illegitimate claim to Yahuah’s Holy Land.

The so-called rescue at Entebbe, while bringing temporary relief to a few, served to further solidify the Zionist narrative of a strong, protective ‘Israel’. This narrative masked the ongoing displacement and suffering of the covenant people, and fueled the relentless persecution of those who uphold the true covenant. Now, even those who once benefited from this deception are beginning to see the truth.

The crumbling faith of the Entebbe survivors is a mirror reflecting the broader crisis of legitimacy facing the Israeli government. As Yahuah continues to unveil the wickedness of this regime, more and more will awaken to the reality that true safety lies not in military might or political maneuvering, but in obedience to the eternal covenant. This is a time for scattered Yisrael to turn away from false saviors and seek refuge in Yahuah alone, awaiting the true restoration promised to those who remain faithful.

⚡ PROPHETIC WATCH

The disillusionment of the Entebbe survivors, witnessing what they perceive as a failure of modern Israel to protect its people, resonates deeply with the prophetic judgment foretold against Edom. For generations, Edom—representing those who actively opposed Yisrael—believed in its own strength and security, boasting of its impenetrable fortresses. Yet, Yahuah declared through the prophet Obadiah, “The pride of your heart has lifted you up, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who say, ‘Who can bring me down to the ground?’” (Obadiah 1:3). The celebrated Entebbe rescue, once a symbol of invincibility, now feels like a broken promise, mirroring how Edom’s perceived security will crumble before Yahuah’s righteous judgment. The shattered trust of these survivors is a microcosm of the ultimate fate awaiting those who oppose Yahuah’s chosen, a stark reminder that earthly power is fleeting and true safety lies solely in Him.

This fracturing of faith, however painful, can also be viewed as a necessary precursor to the true restoration of Yisrael – a restoration not built on military might, but on a renewed covenant with Yahuah and acceptance of Yahusha as Messiah. Just as a farmer clears away dead wood to allow new growth, Yahuah is stripping away the false assurances of earthly security. The prophet Jeremiah foretold a time when Yahuah would “restore the fortunes of Jacob, and gather them from all the countries where I have driven them” (Jeremiah 30:10), but this gathering requires a humbling – a recognition that salvation doesn’t come through self-reliance. The pain of broken trust, therefore, is not an ending, but a painful pruning preparing the ground for a genuine return to Yahuah and the fulfillment of His promises to a truly repentant Yisrael.
