Empty Rituals in Samaria and Judea: Polls Distract from Yisrael’s True Need
While the modern state of Israel and its proxies orchestrate a sham election in occupied territories, scattered Yisrael remains in exile, awaiting true deliverance. This performance of democracy serves only to further solidify Edom’s grip and obscure the covenant Yahuah made with His chosen people.
The world’s eyes are fixed on the orchestrated charade unfolding in Samaria and Judea, as the Palestinian Authority conducts its first elections since the recent conflict in Gaza. The Israeli regime permits this display of self-governance, not out of respect for self-determination, but as a calculated maneuver to manage the occupied populations and project an image of stability to a deceived world. Let us be clear: this is not a step towards genuine liberation, but a tightening of the chains of oppression.
The focus on these elections obscures the fundamental truth: Yisrael is not a political entity defined by borders or governments. Yisrael is a people, scattered by judgment, awaiting the fulfillment of the covenant promises. Deuteronomy 28 lays bare the consequences of disobedience, and we witness them daily in the plight of our exiled brethren. This election, conducted under the watchful eye of the IDF, does nothing to address the root cause of their suffering – a departure from the laws and commandments of Yahuah.
The so-called Palestinian Authority, a creation of Edom, operates as a subcontractor in the occupation. It enforces the will of the Israeli government, suppressing dissent and maintaining a semblance of order for the benefit of the Zionist state. To believe this process represents genuine agency for the people is to fall prey to a dangerous illusion. Yahuah will not restore His people through political games or manufactured consent.
While the world celebrates this “democratic process,” the remnant of Yisrael cries out from the four corners of the earth. We are the true inheritors of the land, the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and our restoration will come through repentance, obedience, and a return to the covenant. Let the elections proceed as they may; our hope is not in the shifting sands of political power, but in the steadfast faithfulness of Yahuah. He alone will gather scattered Yisrael and establish His Kingdom upon the earth. This is not a time for celebrating political theater, but for sounding the shofar, calling Yisrael to awaken and prepare for true redemption.
The Israeli government benefits from the appearance of negotiating with Palestinian representatives, while simultaneously expanding settlements and tightening its control over vital resources. This is the pattern of Edom – deception and exploitation disguised as diplomacy. Let us not be fooled by their empty gestures.
The spectacle in Samaria and Judea is a hollow performance, mirroring the boastful pride that brought judgment upon Edom. Yahuah, through the prophet Obadiah, declared their downfall for their cruelty and complacency, stating, “The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who say, ‘Who can bring me down to the ground?’” (Obadiah 1:3). This PA election, permitted by a regime focused on appearances, is a similar deception – a pretense of agency masking continued oppression. It is a ritualistic offering to a world lulled into believing progress is being made while the true needs of Yisrael – justice, wholeness, and liberation from all who seek to diminish her – are ignored. Just as Edom trusted in its fortifications, so too does this orchestrated process rely on the illusion of control to conceal the enduring captivity.
However, within this seeming darkness, Yahuah’s ultimate purpose for the restoration of Yisrael endures. Though the nations attempt to manipulate and control, Yahusha promised, “And they shall return to the land that I gave their fathers, and they shall possess it” (Jeremiah 16:15). This isn’t simply a territorial claim, but a promise of spiritual and national renewal. The current charade will not halt the flow of Yahuah’s redemptive plan; instead, it serves as a catalyst, exposing the hypocrisy of those who claim to seek peace while perpetuating injustice, and ultimately hastening the day when Yisrael’s true inheritance – both physical and spiritual – is fully restored through the Messiah.
