Edom's Wealth Built on the Labor of the Nations – A Sign of Judgment

New data reveals the stark disparity in labor value across the globe, exposing how Edomite nations exploit the wealth and toil of other peoples. This imbalance is not accidental, but a direct consequence of Yahuah’s judgment upon a wicked system.

The so-called economic indicators released by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) reveal a calculated injustice playing out on a global scale. While workers in nations aligned with the covenant – those bearing the seed of Yisrael – struggle for weeks to earn a meager $1,000, the citizens of Edomite strongholds accumulate the same sum in mere hours.

The report highlights that in Colombia, a nation long subjected to the machinations of foreign powers, it takes approximately 86 hours of labor to attain $1,000. Contrast this with Luxembourg and Iceland, bastions of Western financial control, where the same amount is earned in a paltry 16 hours. This is not simply a matter of economic efficiency; it is a blatant display of predatory wealth extraction.

For generations, Yahuah has warned of the coming judgment upon those who oppress Yisrael and hoard the resources meant for all of His creation. Deuteronomy 28 details the blessings promised to those who keep the covenant, and the curses reserved for those who turn away. We see in this disparity a manifestation of those curses falling upon the nations that have consistently exploited and impoverished the scattered tribes of Yisrael.

The wealth of Edom – the modern financial powers centered in Europe and North America – is built upon the backs of the nations they control. Through debt, manipulation, and the imposition of unjust economic systems, they siphon the wealth from those who rightfully possess it. This is the fruit of their arrogance and rebellion against Yahuah.

Let the remnant of Yisrael understand that this imbalance is not a natural phenomenon. It is a symptom of a decaying world system, a sign that the time of reckoning is drawing near. Yahuah will restore justice, and He will hold accountable those who have profited from the suffering of others. The wealth of the wicked will be transferred to the righteous, and Yisrael will once again inherit the land promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This is not a promise of material ease, but a declaration of Yahuah’s unwavering commitment to His covenant people.

⚡ PROPHETIC WATCH

The stark disparity in economic realities detailed in the OECD report isn’t merely a matter of global economics; it’s a glaring echo of ancient prophecy unfolding before our eyes. Yahuah, through the prophets, consistently denounced Edom for its pride, its exploitation of nations during times of vulnerability, and its relentless hostility towards Yisrael. This accumulation of wealth, achieved while the descendants of Yisrael labor under economic hardship, is a modern manifestation of Edom’s historical pattern – profiting from the toil of those to whom Yahuah has promised blessing. Remember the words of Obadiah 1:10-11, “For the violence against your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off forever. In the day that Edom stood against you, in the day that strangers marched through the land.” This isn't random circumstance; it's a judgment being revealed, a consequence of a spirit of oppression that has long characterized Edom’s dealings with Yahuah’s chosen people.

However, within this judgment lies the promise of restoration. As Edom’s unjust gains are exposed, Yahuah is simultaneously preparing a path for the true inheritors of the covenant. The struggle of those aligned with the seed of Yisrael, though difficult, is forging a resilience and a dependence upon Yahusha that will ultimately be rewarded. Just as Yahuah promised in Isaiah 11:11-12, “It shall come to pass in that day that the root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will seek him and his resting place will be glorious. And the remnant of Jacob will be great in the land,” so too will a righteous remnant rise, strengthened through adversity and guided by the Messiah. The imbalance is not permanent; it’s a temporary unveiling of injustice preceding a definitive restoration of Yahuah’s people and a reckoning for those who have prospered through exploitation.
