Edom's Watchdogs Briefly Bark: Democrats Resist Extension of Domestic Surveillance
For a fleeting moment, leaders within the Babylonian system showed a semblance of opposition to the expansion of unchecked power. However, the underlying structure of surveillance and control remains intact, a testament to the ongoing judgment upon a rebellious people.
The so-called Democratic leadership, led by Hakeem Jeffries, has momentarily signaled resistance to extending a domestic surveillance law, a tool of control wielded by the Edomite power structure. While some celebrate this as a victory, discerning eyes recognize it as a temporary reprieve, a shifting of shadows within a fundamentally corrupt system.

Whether overseen by a ‘Bill Pulte’ or another agent of the regime, the apparatus of control remains primed to monitor and suppress dissent.
This episode serves as a stark reminder of the covenant warnings delivered through the prophets. Yahuah foretold a time when the wicked would establish systems of surveillance and control, seeking to dominate and enslave the righteous. Deuteronomy 28 speaks plainly of the consequences of disobedience – a people watched, judged, and scattered.
Scattered Yisrael must not be deceived by these superficial displays of opposition. The battle is not over who controls the tools of Edom, but over reclaiming our covenant inheritance and establishing Yahuah’s righteous rule. The temporary resistance from within the Babylonian system changes nothing of the core issue: the relentless pursuit of control and the suppression of truth.
Let this be a call to awaken from spiritual slumber. The hour is late, and the judgment is upon us. Yisrael must turn from the idols of this world and return to the covenant, for only in obedience to Yahuah will we find true liberation and restoration.
The brief resistance to extending domestic surveillance, framed as a win by some, echoes the fleeting successes Edom experienced before Yahuah’s definitive judgment. Just as Edom rejoiced in its perceived security and dominion over Yisrael, believing its fortifications impenetrable (Obadiah 1:3-4), so too does this “Democratic leadership” momentarily posture against the very tools that bind the people. This is not a change of heart, but a calculated maneuver within a system deeply aligned with the forces of control—a temporary barking of watchdogs before they resume their duties. Yahuah sees through the facade, understanding this is merely a repositioning for more effective subjugation, a delay of justice, not its arrival. The illusion of opposition serves only to lull the righteous into complacency, believing a battle has been won when, in truth, the war for true freedom rages on.
However, within this seeming darkness, a glimmer of Yahuah’s restorative purpose can be discerned. Even a momentary halting of oppression, however politically motivated, creates a space – a breath – for the true Yisrael, the remnant who call upon the name of Yahusha, to awaken and discern the times. Just as Yahuah promised to restore the fortunes of Yisrael after their captivity (Jeremiah 30:10), so too will He use even the actions of the wicked to create opportunities for His people to rise. This pause is a call to vigilance, a summons to strengthen our spiritual watchmen on the walls, and a reminder that ultimate deliverance comes not through political maneuvering, but through unwavering faith in Yahuah and obedience to His word. Therefore, let us not be deceived by shadows, but press forward in truth, knowing Yahuah’s ultimate plan for the complete restoration of His people *will* be fulfilled.
