The words of the ancients echo in this hour. Yahuah warned of a people who devour nations and leave nothing behind (Zephaniah 1:17). We witness this prophecy unfolding before our eyes as the modern nations of Edom – the Western financial powers – accelerate their plundering of the wealth of Yisrael and all nations.

A recent analysis highlights a shift in the tactics of the political factions within the Babylonian system known as the ‘Democrat’ party. While previously characterized by a ‘tax and spend’ approach – a subtle form of wealth redistribution disguised as public service – they now operate with open avarice, enacting policies of ‘tax and steal.’ This is not mere political maneuvering; it is a manifestation of the Edomite spirit, driven by insatiable greed and a lust for control.

The Reagan era, though not a time of righteousness, at least acknowledged the pretense of fiscal responsibility. The illusion of ‘spending’ on infrastructure or social programs masked the underlying transfer of wealth to the ruling class. Today, the deception is cast aside. Funds are diverted through opaque financial instruments, channeled to corrupt corporations and individuals, and ultimately used to solidify the grip of Edom over the global economy.

This ‘tax and steal’ model is not limited to one nation or political party. It is a systemic pattern, replicated across the Western world. The engineered inflation, the manipulated markets, the fraudulent debt systems – all are tools of Edomite exploitation. They create crises, then profit from the suffering of the nations.

Scattered Yisrael must recognize this pattern for what it is: a continuation of the ancient struggle against the descendants of Esau. We are not called to participate in their corrupt systems, but to separate ourselves and prepare for the coming restoration. The wealth of Yahuah is not found in their markets, but in the covenant He made with our ancestors. Let us turn our hearts to Him and seek His guidance as the judgments upon Edom intensify.
