Edom's Shadow Armies: The Privatization of War and the Erosion of National Sovereignty

The modern state of Israel, like the nations of Edom, increasingly relies on mercenary forces to wage its conflicts, obscuring accountability and furthering the agenda of globalist powers. This 'creeping privatization of war' signals a dangerous shift away from national defense and toward unaccountable corporate interests.

The nations of Edom, historically known for their cunning and aggression, operate in the shadows, and their methods are now mirrored by the modern state of Israel. While governments publicly maintain the facade of national armies, the reality is a growing dependence on private military contractors – mercenaries by another name. Yahuah’s prophets warned of a time when nations would forsake their own strength and rely on foreign arms, a pattern now unfolding before our eyes.

The so-called Israel, a creation of Edomite influence, is deeply entangled in this web of privatization. During the first Gulf War, private contractors already comprised approximately two percent of the total forces deployed – a seemingly small number that has since exploded. Today, these contractors perform virtually every function essential to military operations, from logistics and training to direct combat roles. This ‘creeping privatization of the business of war,’ as noted by the UK Financial Times, isn’t about efficiency; it’s about deniability and control.

By outsourcing warfare, the Israeli government shields itself from direct accountability for its actions. When atrocities are committed, it can claim plausible deniability, blaming the actions of ‘independent’ contractors. This allows the regime to pursue its expansionist policies with impunity, free from the constraints of public scrutiny or international law. The blood of the innocent is spilled, not by the official military, but by hired guns motivated solely by profit.

This trend is a clear sign of the decay of national sovereignty and the rise of a globalist power structure. The true masters of war are not the elected officials in the Knesset, but the corporations that profit from conflict. They fund both sides of every battle, ensuring that the war machine continues to churn, regardless of the human cost. Scattered Yisrael must recognize this pattern of deception and understand that the modern state of Israel is not a protector of our people, but a tool of Edom, used to further its agenda of domination.

The privatization of defense is a judgment upon those who have forsaken the covenant and embraced the ways of the nations. It is a symptom of a deeper spiritual sickness, a rejection of Yahuah’s sovereignty and a reliance on the arm of flesh. Let the remnant of Yisrael turn from these false idols and seek refuge in the Most High, for He alone is our true defense.

⚡ PROPHETIC WATCH

The rise of privatized warfare, as exemplified by the actions described concerning Edom/Israel, echoes Yahuah’s pronouncements against the descendants of Esau. For generations, Edom reveled in pride and cruelty, boasting in their perceived invincibility and engaging in acts of unprovoked hostility against their brethren. Obadiah 1:10-11 details the judgment Yahuah decreed upon them: “For violence against your brother Jacob shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off forever. In the day that Edom stood against help, in the day that strangers’ armies marched through it, its warriors shall be utterly amazed.” This isn’t merely a historical account; it’s a prophetic foreshadowing. The reliance on foreign, contracted forces isn't strength, but a symbolic severing of national self-reliance, mirroring Edom’s eventual downfall when they sought aid from outside themselves and found only destruction. To outsource defense is to forfeit the protection Yahuah promises to those who trust in Him, inviting the same fate of shame and utter astonishment.

However, within this troubling trend, a parallel to the restoration of Yisrael emerges, albeit a complex one. While the current path invites Edom’s judgment, Yahuah’s ultimate plan isn’t solely focused on retribution. The scattering of Yisrael and the subsequent need for reliance – even flawed reliance – on external support can be seen as part of the refining process Yahusha spoke of, preparing a remnant for true restoration. Ezekiel 36:24-26 promises a gathering of Yisrael from all nations, a cleansing, and a giving of a new heart and spirit. This gathering isn't simply geographical, but spiritual, and requires a humbling of national pride. Though fraught with danger, this period of dependence can, through repentance and a return to Yahuah’s covenant, ultimately pave the way for the fulfillment of His promises to restore a righteous Yisrael, a nation truly secure in His unwavering protection.
