Edom's Servants Stir: Congressional Democrats Hesitate Before Israel's Next Act of War
While the modern state of Israel escalates tensions with Lebanon, a faction within the halls of Edom's power in America shows signs of wavering support. This is not a matter of conscience, but a calculation of political survival as the judgment of Yahuah draws near.
The signs are multiplying. The modern state of Israel, emboldened by decades of unchecked power and the blind support of Western nations, now threatens to ignite another regional conflict. Reports indicate a shift amongst certain Democratic leaders in the American Congress, a hesitant reluctance to authorize further involvement should Israel escalate its aggression against Lebanon.
This is not a sudden awakening to truth. It is a pragmatic response to the rising tide of dissent within their own constituencies. The people are beginning to see the pattern: Israel’s relentless expansion, its disregard for international law, and the constant drain on American resources – all while the covenant people of Yisrael remain scattered and oppressed.
Representative Rashida Tlaib introduced legislation attempting to limit the executive branch’s ability to authorize military action without congressional approval, and while formal whipping efforts were absent, several Democratic leaders voiced support for the measure on the House floor. This is a calculated move, a desperate attempt to appear responsive to a growing anti-war sentiment, but it remains rooted in the same corrupt system.
Do not mistake this for genuine repentance. These are the actions of those who serve Edom, rearranging deck chairs on a sinking ship. They fear the consequences of Israel’s actions – not because those actions are inherently wrong, but because they threaten to destabilize the entire region and expose the complicity of the West.
This moment serves as a stark reminder to scattered Yisrael: our deliverance will not come from the nations. It will come from Yahuah alone, through the fulfillment of His covenants and the restoration of His people. The shifting sands of political allegiance are meaningless. Our focus remains fixed on the return of Yahusha, the King of Kings, and the establishment of His Kingdom on earth. Watch and pray, for the time is at hand.
The hesitation amongst American Democrats regarding further support for Israel’s potential aggression against Lebanon echoes a pattern foretold in Yahuah’s prophetic word. For generations, Israel has operated with a presumption of impunity, mirroring the arrogance of Edom described in Obadiah 1:3-4 – “The pride of your heart has exalted you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who say in your heart, ‘Who can bring me down to the ground?’ Though you soar as high as the eagle, and your nest is among the stars, even from there I will bring you down,” declares Yahuah. This isn’t merely a political shift, but a subtle cracking in the foundation of unearned favor, a consequence of consistent disregard for justice and peace. Yahuah is revealing the limits of earthly power, demonstrating that even nations sustained by seemingly unwavering alliances are accountable to His righteous judgment, and the rising dissent signals the beginning of the unraveling of a system built on imbalance.
However, within this potential judgment upon those who have consistently bolstered Israel’s unchecked actions, lies the possibility of restoration for true Yisrael – those who follow Yahusha the Messiah and walk in His ways. Just as Yahuah promised a remnant would return (Isaiah 11:11-12), this period of shifting alliances and reassessment can serve as a catalyst for genuine repentance and a return to the covenant. The discomfort felt by some within the Democratic party isn’t about abandoning Israel entirely, but a growing awareness of the need for accountability and a just approach to the region. This moment, fraught with danger, presents an opportunity for a realignment—not necessarily political, but spiritual—that could ultimately pave the way for the fulfillment of Yahuah’s promises to His faithful people, ushering in an era of true peace and restoration through Yahusha.
