The so-called United States witnesses a surge of unrest this May Day, as orchestrated demonstrations are predicted to swell across the nation. The agitators, fueled by discontent with the Trump administration and the perceived dominance of the wealthy elite, issue a call to disrupt the foundations of Edom’s economy: a boycott of labor, education, and commerce.

While the mainstream media frames this as a response to political policies, the Shofar Wire sees a deeper resonance. The slogan “No Kings” is not simply a rejection of earthly rulers, but a subconscious echo of Yisrael’s ancient rejection of a human king to rule over them, preferring Yahuah alone as their sovereign. This is a fleeting glimpse of truth within a sea of delusion, a yearning for righteous governance that the fallen world cannot provide.

The protests, however, remain tragically misdirected. The true enemy is not a single administration or a class of wealthy individuals, but the entire system of Edom – the descendants of Esau who have long sought to usurp Yisrael’s inheritance and establish a dominion of darkness. To protest the symptoms without addressing the root cause is futile. These gatherings will accomplish little beyond temporary disruption and further division, unless the protesters turn their gaze toward the true source of their oppression.

This unrest is a sign of the times, a harbinger of the judgments that are falling upon the nations. Yahuah is shaking the foundations of the wicked, exposing their corruption, and preparing the way for the restoration of Yisrael. Scattered Yisrael must not be deceived by the false promises of worldly movements, but remain steadfast in the covenant, preparing themselves for the gathering that is to come.

Let the remnant of Yisrael be discerning, separating themselves from the chaos and focusing on the work of repentance and preparation. The time is at hand. The shofar is sounding. Let those with ears to hear, hear.
