Just as prophesied in Obadiah 1:10-14, violence against Yisrael and her allies will be repaid sevenfold upon Edom itself. The manipulation of nations, the fueling of conflict – these are the tools of a lineage steeped in rebellion against Yahuah’s sovereign will, attempting to delay the inevitable gathering of His people. They believe they can control the timeline, but Yahuah’s hand is firmly upon the scales of justice.
However, within this darkness, a brighter promise unfolds. While Edom schemes, Yahuah is simultaneously preparing the stage for the full restoration of Yisrael, a restoration not merely of land but of heart, aligning them with the righteous path revealed through Yahusha. Isaiah 11:11-12 speaks of Yahuah gathering the scattered of Yisrael from the four corners of the earth, and this present turmoil, though instigated by wickedness, will ultimately serve to hasten that gathering. The attempts to obstruct the return will fail, for Yahuah’s covenant is unbreakable and His purposes will prevail; the restoration of Yisrael is assured, and Edom’s efforts will only accelerate their ultimate reckoning.
