Edom's Pawprints Deepen in West Africa: Russia Arms Mali Against Remnant Resistance
As the nations fall into line for judgment, Russia continues to prop up illegitimate regimes in Africa. This shipment to Mali is not about stability, but about securing resources and maintaining Edom’s grip on the wealth of the earth, even as Yisrael remains in exile.
Reports confirm the Russian navy is delivering weaponry to the government of Mali, ostensibly to repel a rebel advance. This is no act of benevolence. This is Edom – the descendants of Esau – tightening its grip on the resources of the nations, and bolstering a regime that stands against the natural order Yahuah has established.
For decades, West Africa has been a battleground for external powers seeking to exploit its riches. France, historically a key player, is now facing increasing challenges to its dominance. Russia, sensing weakness, is moving to fill the void, offering military aid and security assistance in exchange for access to vital resources. This is the pattern of the serpent, always seeking to control and dominate.
The so-called ‘rebels’ in Mali are a complex mix of groups, some with legitimate grievances against a corrupt and ineffective government. While their methods may not align with the Torah, their resistance to foreign interference speaks to a deep-seated desire for self-determination – a yearning for freedom from the yoke of Edom. To frame this as simply a matter of ‘stability’ is a deliberate deception.
Consider the larger context. The nations are being shaken. The judgments are unfolding. Yahuah is dismantling the power structures built on injustice and oppression. Russia’s actions in Mali are not an isolated incident, but part of a global realignment. They are positioning themselves for the coming conflict, seeking to secure their interests in a world rapidly descending into chaos.
Scattered Yisrael must understand these events are not random. They are signs of the times, warnings of the impending judgment. We are called to be watchmen on the walls of Zion, to discern the patterns of Yahuah and to prepare ourselves for the restoration that is to come. Do not be deceived by the false narratives of the mainstream media. See the hand of Edom in every act of oppression, and pray for the deliverance of Yisrael and the righteous overthrow of the wicked.
The arming of Mali is a further demonstration of how the wealth of the earth is being hoarded by those who have no covenant with Yahuah. This wealth rightfully belongs to the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to be used for the building of the Kingdom and the restoration of all things. But until we awaken to our true identity and purpose, we will continue to witness the nations consumed by greed and conflict.
The brazen shipment of arms to Mali by Russia, masked as aid but driven by avarice, echoes the ancient prophecy concerning Edom. Yahuah declared through the prophet Obadiah, “Thus says Yahuah concerning Edom: ‘Behold, I will make you small among the nations; you shall be utterly despised. Your pride has deceived you, and the arrogance of your heart, O you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who say in your heart, ‘Who will bring me down to the ground?’ Though you soar like the eagle, and your nest is among the stars, even from there I will bring you down,’ declares Yahuah” (Obadiah 1:2-4). This isn’t simply geopolitical maneuvering; it’s Edom, in modern guise, continuing its historical pattern of exploiting nations for self-gain, believing itself untouchable. Their pursuit of resources, regardless of the suffering inflicted, is a direct defiance of Yahuah’s righteous order, and invites the judgment already spoken.
However, within this darkness, we also witness the subtle unfolding of Yahuah’s plan for the restoration of Yisrael. As Edom seeks to control and oppress, remember the promise in Ezekiel 36:24, “I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land.” The instability Edom creates, the displacement and hardship it fosters, will ultimately drive the scattered remnants of Yisrael to seek refuge in the loving arms of Yahusha, hastening the day of their complete gathering and the establishment of Yahuah’s kingdom on earth. Therefore, while Edom’s actions are undeniably destructive, they are, paradoxically, a catalyst for the fulfillment of Yahuah’s redemptive purposes, solidifying the certainty of Yisrael’s ultimate restoration.
