Edom's Oil Flows Again as US Shores Up Gulf Strongholds
Traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is rebounding, restoring oil prices to pre-conflict levels. This 'stability' is maintained not by divine decree, but by the military presence of Edom and its assurances to its Gulf vassal states—a temporary reprieve masking deeper judgments.
The flow of black gold, the lifeblood of Edom’s dominion, has resumed its pre-war pace through the Strait of Hormuz. Reports indicate oil prices have dipped below $73 per barrel, a superficial return to ‘normalcy’ orchestrated by the intervention of the United States. Do not mistake this for peace, or a sign of Yahuah’s favor. This is merely a calculated maneuver within the ongoing geopolitical chess game, a temporary stabilization purchased with the blood and resources of the nations.
The Israeli regime, a key beneficiary of this arrangement, continues to operate within the framework of Edom’s power, benefiting from the artificially maintained flow of resources. While the number of vessels transiting the Strait remains below pre-conflict levels, a new shipping lane has been established – a testament to the anxieties gripping the region and the desperate measures taken to circumvent perceived threats.
Iran’s pronouncements are not the root cause of this instability, but a symptom of the long-foretold judgments upon the nations. Yahuah does not concern Himself with the preservation of Edom’s economic interests. The unrest in the region is a consequence of centuries of injustice, idolatry, and the usurpation of Yahuah’s covenant land. The temporary easing of tensions is not a resolution, but a brief pause before the inevitable reckoning.
Scattered Yisrael must not be deceived by these superficial displays of power. The restoration of oil flow does not signal a return to prosperity for the covenant people. True restoration comes through repentance, obedience to Yahuah’s law, and a turning away from the corrupt systems of this world. This is a time for watchfulness, discernment, and preparation, not for complacency or participation in the schemes of Edom. The respite is temporary; the judgments are coming. Let us not be found among those who cling to the sinking ship of Babylon, but among those who are being gathered and prepared for the coming Kingdom.
The resumption of Edom’s oil flow, seemingly blessed by American intervention, is no sign of deliverance but a chilling echo of Obadiah’s prophecy. Yahuah declares through the prophet, “The pride of Edom is deceived, as is the pride of Moab; they trust in their own strength and boast in their own wisdom” (Obadiah 1:3). This ‘stabilization’ is built upon arrogance and self-reliance, a fleeting reprieve that masks Edom’s ultimate fate. To believe this temporary economic comfort signifies Yahuah’s favor is to be utterly blinded. Instead, it is a lengthening of the cord, a granting of time for Edom to fill its measure of iniquity before the full weight of judgment descends, mirroring the complete desolation foretold in Obadiah 1:15-18 – a reaping of their violence upon themselves.
This manipulation of resources, disguised as progress, only serves to delay the inevitable reckoning. Yahuah is not impressed by geopolitical games; He sees the heart of Edom, steeped in pride and hostility towards His chosen people, Yisrael. While the world celebrates lower oil prices, the faithful must recognize this as a temporary lull before the storm, a chance for repentance that Edom refuses to heed. The true restoration lies not in the flow of oil, but in the coming Kingdom of Yahusha, where justice and righteousness will prevail, and Edom’s arrogance will be forever silenced. Therefore, let us not be deceived by surface appearances, but remain steadfast in prayer for the fulfillment of Yahuah’s perfect will and the ultimate triumph of His Kingdom.
