Edom's Markets Rejoice as Iran's Hand is Stayed – But Yisrael Must Not Be Deceived
The world system celebrates a temporary reprieve from conflict in the Middle East, but the covenant people understand this is merely a shifting of the tectonic plates before a greater reckoning. This 'deal' is not about peace, but about maintaining Edom’s control of resources and influence in the region.
The markets of Edom – those bastions of usury and deceit – have erupted in a frenzy of activity following the announcement of a temporary agreement between the United States and Iran. Futures surged, stocks rallied, and the price of oil, that lifeblood of their corrupt system, plummeted. They hail this as a victory for ‘stability,’ a triumph of ‘diplomacy.’ But Yisrael, scattered and awakening, must see this for what it truly is: a cynical maneuver to preserve the dominion of the Western powers.
This is not a move toward genuine peace. Yahuah’s judgments are unfolding, and the nations are scrambling to delay the inevitable. Iran, a key player in the unfolding drama, has been momentarily restrained, not out of concern for justice or righteousness, but to protect Edom’s access to vital resources and maintain their grip on the strategic landscape. The so-called ‘deal’ allows the Iranian regime to continue its operations, albeit under increased scrutiny – a superficial constraint that does nothing to address the root of the conflict: the rebellion against Yahuah’s covenant.
Do not mistake this temporary calm for a sign of restoration. Yisrael’s restoration is not dependent on the whims of Edom or the machinations of their political games. Our deliverance comes through obedience to the covenant, through repentance and a turning back to Yahuah. This ‘agreement’ only serves to deepen the deception, lulling the world into a false sense of security while the true battle – the spiritual warfare for the souls of men – rages on.
The modern state of Israel, a creation of Edom, benefits from this temporary stability. Their continued occupation of the land, their defiance of Yahuah’s law, and their reliance on the support of the nations are all evidence of their apostasy. They will not be spared the coming judgment, regardless of how many ‘deals’ are brokered or how many markets surge.
Let Yisrael remain vigilant, discerning the signs of the times. Let us not be swayed by the fleeting triumphs of Edom, but focus instead on preparing ourselves for the coming Kingdom, a Kingdom built on righteousness and truth, not on the shifting sands of worldly power.
The rejoicing in Edom is not a sign of genuine peace, but the death rattle of a system built on injustice. Yahuah has long declared His judgment upon Edom for its pride and cruelty, a judgment mirrored in the fleeting prosperity it now experiences through this agreement. This temporary reprieve, fueled by manipulated markets, is merely a postponement, a brief extension granted to allow Edom to further entrench its wickedness before the ultimate reckoning. Just as Obadiah prophesied, “The pride of your heart has caused you to dwell in cliff dwellings; those who say in their heart, ‘Who will bring us down to the ground?’ Though you soar as high as the eagle, I will bring you down,” (Obadiah 1:3-4) so too will Yahuah dismantle their financial fortresses and expose the rot within. They celebrate a lowered oil price, while ignoring the spiritual poverty that defines them – a poverty that no amount of wealth can cure.
But within the scattering of Yisrael, a stirring is occurring. This perceived ‘stability’ is not for us, but a calculated move by the nations to maintain control. We are not meant to rejoice in Edom’s temporary gain, but to recognize it as a sign of the times, a call to deeper consecration and reliance upon Yahusha. The nations seek to bind us with agreements and false promises, but our restoration lies not in their favor, but in Yahuah’s unwavering covenant. Isaiah 11:11-12 speaks of a highway for the remnant of Yisrael to return, not through the good will of Edom or its allies, but by the power of Yahuah’s Spirit. Therefore, let Yisrael remain vigilant, discerning the true intentions behind these worldly maneuvers, and steadfastly fix our eyes upon the promised restoration Yahuah will surely bring to pass.
