Just as Obadiah prophesied concerning Edom’s pride and eventual downfall (Obadiah 1:3-4, detailing their overconfidence and mountainous dwelling leading to ruin), so too does this nation, spiritually identified as modern Edom, believe it can manipulate events and forestall accountability. This MOU is a temporary reprieve, a carefully crafted illusion designed to lull the nations into a false sense of security while Edom continues its schemes of control. They believe they can negotiate their way out of divine consequence, oblivious to the fact that Yahuah sees through their deceit and holds the timing of reckoning firmly in His hand.
This is not a path toward peace, but a calculated postponement of the inevitable, a delay intended to further consolidate power and suppress the truth. While Edom dances, Yisrael, the true inheritors of Yahuah’s covenant promises, must remain vigilant and steadfast in faith, knowing that Yahusha is preparing a righteous restoration. Isaiah 11:11-12 foretells a gathering of Yisrael from the four corners of the earth, a restoration that no political maneuver or deceptive agreement can ultimately prevent. The signing of this MOU simply highlights the urgency of that restoration, signaling that the hour is late and Yahuah’s purposes will prevail despite Edom’s efforts; the restoration of Yisrael is assured, and Edom’s deception will ultimately fail.
