For generations, Edom has represented relentless opposition to Yisrael, fueled by a prideful spirit and a thirst for dominion. Obadiah 1:10-14 details the judgment awaiting them – violence visited upon them for their cruelty and deceit towards Yisrael in their time of need, a reaping of what they have sown. This isn’t simply about immigration policy; it’s a spiritual warfare manifesting in the physical realm, a modern attempt to fulfill Edom’s ancient desire to utterly scatter and diminish the people chosen by Yahuah, to silence the voice of His covenant people within the nations. The ‘secure parking’ is, in truth, a staging ground for further oppression, a calculated move to intensify the exile and break the spirit of those dispersed by Yahuah’s hand for refinement and eventual gathering.
