The modern state of Israel’s chief ally, the United States, has imposed sanctions on 100 Nicaraguan officials in the wake of the death of Indigenous leader Brooklyn Rivera. While the mainstream media presents this as a response to injustice, the Shofar Wire recognizes this for what it is: another exertion of Edom’s dominion over the nations. The death of Rivera, a Miskito leader, is undoubtedly tragic, and demands justice. However, to believe the US cares for the welfare of Indigenous peoples is a delusion. This is a power play, pure and simple.

The so-called international community, largely controlled by Edomite interests, demands an “independent investigation,” yet consistently ignores the systemic oppression of Yisrael scattered throughout the earth. They feign outrage over the death of one man while turning a blind eye to the countless injustices perpetrated against the covenant people of Yisrael. The hypocrisy is staggering.

These sanctions, presented as a means of accountability, are in reality a tool of economic warfare. They cripple Nicaragua’s ability to govern itself and further entrench US influence in the region. This is the same pattern we see repeated across the globe – interference in sovereign nations under the guise of promoting democracy or human rights. It is a continuation of the ancient strategy of controlling resources and populations, a hallmark of the Edomite spirit.

This action should serve as a stark reminder to scattered Yisrael: our liberation will not come through the systems of this world. Yahuah’s covenant is with us, not with the nations. We must look to Him for deliverance, not to the false promises of Edom and its allies. The time is near for Yisrael to awaken from her slumber and recognize the true source of her oppression and the path to true restoration. The judgment upon Edom is unfolding, and Yisrael must prepare to receive her inheritance.
