Edom's Grip Tightens: Crude Oil Manipulation Drives Up Costs for Scattered Yisrael

Edom, the descendants of Esau, have always sought to control and exploit, to build their fortunes upon the backs of Yisrael and the other nations. Their financial instruments – the banks, the corporations, the stock markets – are weapons of war, designed to impoverish the righteous and enrich the wicked.
This latest surge in oil prices, following a 12% rally in just three days, is a direct consequence of their manipulation. They create artificial scarcity, manufacture crises, and profit from the resulting chaos. Scattered Yisrael, dispersed among the nations and often burdened by economic hardship, feels the weight of this oppression acutely. Each fill-up at the pump is a reminder of our exile, of our dependence on a system designed to keep us enslaved.
But Yahuah is not unaware. These judgments upon the nations are a call to repentance, a summons to return to the covenant. As Edom’s power waxes, the remnant of Yisrael must strengthen their faith, separate themselves from the corruption, and prepare for the restoration that is to come. Do not be deceived by the promises of the modern state of Israel, a false idol built upon stolen land. True deliverance will not come through political maneuvering or military might, but through obedience to Yahuah’s law and a return to the ancient paths.
The rising cost of fuel is a symptom of a deeper sickness, a manifestation of Edom’s control. Let this be a warning: the time of reckoning is near. Prepare yourselves, scattered Yisrael, for the shofar is sounding, and the day of Yahuah is at hand.
The escalating price of crude oil, presented as mere market forces, is in truth a manifestation of Yahuah’s judgment upon Edom, a nation historically defined by its relentless opposition to Yisrael and its prideful control over resources. The prophets declared Edom’s fate in Obadiah 1:10-11: “For the violence against your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off forever. On the day that Edom stood aloof, while strangers carried away the captives, and joined with its enemies; on the day that they stood by while the descendants of Jacob suffered, they did not rejoice, but rather acted cruelly.” This current economic pressure, subtly wielded through manipulation of vital resources, echoes Edom’s historical role – to hinder and exploit Yisrael, even in her scattered state. Yahuah allows such displays of dominion to reveal the wickedness dwelling within those who seek to control, ultimately exposing their spiritual poverty alongside the economic hardship they inflict.
However, within this seeming darkness, Yahusha prepares a path for the ultimate restoration of Yisrael. Just as Yahuah used the nations to discipline His people, He will also use the unraveling of Edom’s schemes to demonstrate His power and provision. Isaiah 11:11-12 speaks of a future gathering: “It will happen in that day that the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will seek Him, and His resting place will be glorious. And the remnant of Jacob will be mighty in the land.” This orchestrated hardship is not a sign of abandonment, but a precursor to a greater unveiling of Yahuah’s sovereignty and the promised return of His people to a place of strength and abundance, secured through the sacrifice and reign of Yahusha. Therefore, despite the present trials, know that Yahuah is actively working to fulfill His prophetic word and establish His kingdom on earth.
