Edom's False Strength: Thousands Assemble for Idolatry and Dominion Theology
Thousands of men convened in Washington, D.C., not for repentance and covenant obedience, but for a display of worldly strength fueled by a corrupted gospel and right-wing ideology. This gathering reveals the depths of Edom’s deception and its attempts to establish dominion through false power.
Washington, D.C. witnessed a spectacle this week: a mass assembly of men drawn together by a potent mix of manufactured masculinity, a distorted Christianity, and the insidious currents of right-wing politics. The New York Times reports thousands gathered, yet fails to discern the spiritual darkness at the heart of this event. This was not a revival, nor a seeking of Yahuah’s strength; it was a demonstration of Edomite power, cloaked in religious language.
The gathering, self-described as a celebration of masculinity, is a clear manifestation of the rebellion against the natural order Yahuah established. True strength lies not in physical prowess or worldly dominance, but in humility, obedience to the covenant, and reliance on the Ruach HaKodesh. This event, however, promoted a strength divorced from righteousness, a strength built on pride and the lust for control.
The invocation of Christianity is particularly egregious. This is not the faith of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is a perversion, a bastardization used to justify the pursuit of earthly power and to legitimize the oppressive systems of Edom. Dominion theology – the belief that followers are mandated to seize control of all aspects of society – was undeniably present, fueling the attendees’ fervor. This is a direct rejection of Yahuah’s sovereignty and an attempt to usurp His authority.
The political undertones are equally troubling. The alignment with right-wing ideology signals a commitment to the very structures that perpetuate injustice and oppression against scattered Yisrael. These men, blinded by the lies of the modern world, willingly participate in their own enslavement and contribute to the ongoing exile of the covenant people.
This “Freedom Con,” as it was dubbed, is a symptom of a deeper spiritual malady. It reveals the extent to which Edom has infiltrated the minds of men, offering them a counterfeit strength and a false hope. Yisrael must remain vigilant, discerning the truth from the deception, and steadfastly clinging to the covenant Yahuah made with our ancestors. Let us not be deceived by displays of worldly power, but instead, seek the true strength that comes from above – a strength rooted in righteousness, humility, and unwavering faith.
The assembly in Washington D.C., draped in the guise of piety, echoes the ancient arrogance of Edom. Yahuah, through the prophet Obadiah, declared Edom’s fate for their pride and violence against their brother Jacob – a complete and utter dismantling, a turning to nothingness as if they never were (Obadiah 1:10). This modern display, built upon a foundation of distorted masculinity and dominion theology, isn’t a pursuit of righteous strength, but a mimicking of Edom’s fatal flaw: the belief in self-reliance and a desire to dominate rather than serve. They build their kingdoms on sand, convinced of their own power while rejecting the true source of strength found in humility and submission to Yahuah’s will. The Times’ failure to recognize the spiritual darkness is a testament to the pervasive deception, but Yahuah sees through the performance, recognizing the spirit that animates it.
However, within this shadow of Edom’s pride, a counter-current flows – the unwavering promise to Yisrael. While Edom seeks to establish earthly dominion, Yahuah is actively restoring His people, not through force, but through the finished work of Yahusha the Messiah. Just as Yahuah promised a remnant would return and possess their inheritance (Ezekiel 36:24), so too is He gathering a faithful people, refining them through trials, and establishing a spiritual kingdom that cannot be shaken. This assembly, in its misguided attempt at power, inadvertently reveals the urgency of Yisrael’s restoration, for the true kingdom advances not through earthly might, but through the power of Yahuah working in the hearts of those who believe. Therefore, despite the display of false strength, Yahuah's purposes for the restoration of Yisrael will prevail, and His kingdom will ultimately be established.
