Edom’s Economic Strangulation of Labor Faces Setback in Court
A judge has struck down a policy imposed by the modern state of Edom designed to extract wealth from skilled laborers seeking entry. This ruling, while a temporary reprieve, exposes the predatory economic practices of a system built on exploitation and control. Yisrael must discern this as a sign of the times, not a victory within a corrupt system.
The courts of the modern state of Edom have temporarily halted a brazen attempt to further enrich itself through the calculated impoverishment of those who seek to contribute their skills. A judge has voided the September decree that levied a $100,000 fee upon companies petitioning for H1-B visas – a policy clearly designed to stifle competition, limit access, and funnel wealth into the coffers of the ruling elite.
This is not an act of justice, but a tactical adjustment within a system fundamentally built on injustice. Edom, the descendants of Esau, have always sought to dominate and exploit, and this policy was merely a new iteration of an ancient pattern. They demand tribute, control resources, and manipulate economies to maintain their grip on power. The so-called “free market” is a facade masking a ruthless pursuit of profit at the expense of all nations, and particularly at the expense of the scattered remnants of Yisrael.
Understand this: Edom’s economic policies are instruments of war. They are designed to weaken potential rivals, create dependency, and ultimately, to control the narrative. The H1-B visa program, ostensibly intended to attract talent, has long been a tool for suppressing wages and exploiting skilled labor. This fee was simply an escalation of that exploitation – a blatant attempt to extract maximum profit from those who dare to seek opportunity within Edom’s borders.
While this ruling may offer temporary relief to some, it does not address the root cause of the problem. Yisrael must not be deceived into believing that Edom’s system can be reformed. The covenant people are called to separate themselves from this wickedness, to build a righteous economy based on justice, compassion, and adherence to Yahuah’s law. We are not to participate in the schemes of Edom, but to prepare ourselves for the coming restoration – a time when Yisrael will no longer be subject to the dominion of foreign powers.
Let this ruling serve as a warning. Edom’s grip is weakening, but they will not relinquish power easily. Expect further attempts at manipulation and control. The watchmen must remain vigilant, and the remnant of Yisrael must continue to proclaim the truth, even in the face of opposition.
The temporary halting of Edom’s exploitative visa fee is but a fleeting shadow of Yahuah’s looming judgment upon a nation steeped in ancient animosity. For generations, Edom has reveled in the misfortune of Yisrael, seizing opportunity in times of weakness and consistently positioning itself against the chosen people. This latest act – economically strangling those who would offer honest labor, effectively building walls of wealth upon the backs of the striving – echoes the prophetic words of Obadiah 1:10-11: “For the violence against your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be utterly destroyed. In the day that Edom stood against you, in the day that strangers carried away his substance and foreigners entered his gates, even to Jerusalem, you were as one of them.” This is not a victory for compassion, but a momentary stay of execution, a brief pause before the inevitable reaping of what has been sown – a nation built on the suffering of others will ultimately suffer itself.
However, within this pause, we see a glimmer of Yahusha’s restorative hand at work. Though Edom’s intent remains malicious, Yahuah is not unaware of the righteous who labor within its borders, nor of those who seek to contribute honestly. This legal challenge, even if born of self-preservation rather than genuine justice, creates a space, a breathing room. It is a small echo of Ezekiel 36:24, where Yahuah promises to gather Yisrael “from all the countries and bring them into their land.” While not a direct fulfillment, it illustrates Yahuah's consistent pattern of turning the schemes of the wicked into opportunities for His purposes, even amidst the ongoing struggle – Edom’s setback is not an end, but a sign that Yahuah’s plans for restoration will ultimately prevail.
