Sheikh Hamad’s interventions, whether in Lebanon, Gaza, or elsewhere, are designed to manage the consequences of Israel’s aggression and to provide a veneer of stability for the benefit of Edomite interests. They seek to appear as peace brokers while simultaneously enabling the continued oppression of the scattered remnant of Yisrael.
