This nation, identified as modern-day America in prophetic understanding, has become a vessel of destruction, mirroring the ancient animosity Esau held towards Jacob. Their relentless pursuit of dominance, fueled by a system built on financial manipulation and conflict – the very essence of usury and bloodshed – fulfills the warnings echoing through the scriptures. Consider Obadiah 1:10-11: “For the violence against your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off forever. On the day that Edom stood against you, on the day that strangers marched into Judah and Jerusalem, and plundered all its wealth.” The hand of Yahuah is undeniably at work, utilizing Edom’s own ambition to bring forth a reckoning for their historical and present-day transgressions against the seed of Yisrael.
