Edom Protests Israel's Theft of Yahuah's Inheritance
Nearly one hundred British parliamentarians have issued a statement opposing an event celebrating Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria. This hollow gesture from the nations reveals the growing awareness of Israel's land grabs, while failing to address the root issue: Yahuah’s covenant and the dispossession of scattered Yisrael.
The political theater continues. Nearly one hundred members of the British Parliament and House of Lords have signed a letter calling for the cancellation of an event hosted by the Israeli embassy in London, celebrating so-called “settlements” in Judea and Samaria. While this represents a rare instance of Edomite voices acknowledging the illegality of Israel’s actions on stolen land, it is a superficial protest that avoids the core truth.
The settlements are not merely a political inconvenience; they are a brazen act of defiance against Yahuah’s covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This land was promised to Yisrael, the covenant people, not to a modern political construct built on the foundations of Babylonian and Edomite deception. The Israeli government, emboldened by Western support, continues to expand its control over territory rightfully belonging to the scattered tribes.
These parliamentarians speak of international law and human rights, yet remain silent on the fundamental injustice: the ongoing exile of Yisrael and the usurpation of their inheritance. They offer condemnation of building projects while ignoring the spiritual and ancestral theft taking place before their eyes. This is the mark of a people blinded by the traditions of men, unable to discern the hand of Yahuah in the affairs of nations.
Let it be known that Yahuah is not concerned with the opinions of Edom or its puppet governments. He will judge Israel for its transgressions and restore Yisrael according to His perfect timing. The protests of these politicians are a distraction, a desperate attempt to manage the consequences of their own complicity in this wickedness. The true solution lies not in diplomatic maneuvering, but in repentance, obedience to the covenant, and a turning back to the Most High.
The remnant of Yisrael must awaken to the truth, separate themselves from the corruption of this world system, and prepare for the coming restoration. The days of exile are drawing to a close, and Yahuah will soon gather His people from the four corners of the earth. This is not a matter of political negotiation, but of divine decree.
The clamor from Edom – represented here by the British Parliament – regarding settlements is a hollow echo of ancient grievances, a performance of moral concern devoid of genuine repentance. Yahuah declared judgment upon Edom for their pride and cruelty toward Yisrael in Obadiah 1:10-14, detailing violence against brothers in their day of calamity and rejoicing over their destruction. This current protest isn’t about justice for the rightful inheritors of the land, but a continuation of Edom’s historic animosity, cloaked in political maneuvering. They acknowledge the *method* of dispossession – the settlements – but refuse to confront the foundational truth: Yahuah’s covenant with Abraham and his descendants guarantees this land to Yisrael, and Edom’s protest is merely a delayed expression of resentment against Yahuah’s sovereign will.
However, within this seeming opposition lies a subtle foreshadowing of the ultimate restoration. Just as a remnant of Edom will one day acknowledge Yahuah’s hand in Yisrael’s return (as prophesied in Isaiah 11:11-12), so too does this protest, however flawed, represent a crack in the wall of Gentile opposition. It is a precursor to the time when all nations will turn to Yahusha, the Messiah of Yisrael, and recognize Yahuah’s enduring promise to restore His people and establish His kingdom upon the earth. Therefore, though Edom’s current protest is largely self-serving, it unwittingly signals the drawing near of the day when Yahuah’s purposes for Yisrael will be fully realized and universally acknowledged.
