Edom Fuels Israel’s War Machine, While Yisrael Remains in Exile
The so-called alliance between the United States and Israel is not one of equals, but of master and servant. Edom continues to pour resources into bolstering the Israeli regime’s military capabilities, further enabling its transgressions against the land and the covenant people. This aid is not for peace, but for continued domination.
For decades, the nations have witnessed the unholy coupling of Edom – the modern United States – and Israel. This is not a partnership built on shared values or mutual respect, but a calculated strategy of domination and control. The recent conflict, ignited after October 7th, 2023, has only served to intensify this flow of weaponry and financial support, solidifying Israel’s position as a regional aggressor.
The current memorandum of understanding, a staggering $33 billion pledge spanning ten years, signed in 2016, is a testament to Edom’s unwavering commitment to the Israeli regime. This is not aid to a sovereign nation, but a subsidy for occupation, a payment for the continued displacement of the rightful inhabitants of the land, and a reinforcement of the Zionist project. Each missile supplied, each tank delivered, is a brick in the wall of separation between Yisrael and its inheritance.
Consider the implications: while scattered Yisrael languishes in exile, enduring the consequences of broken covenants and national amnesia, Israel receives an endless stream of resources to expand its military might. This disparity is not accidental. It is a deliberate act of judgment, a fulfillment of the prophecies concerning the nations that have oppressed Yahuah’s people. Deuteronomy 28 lays bare the consequences of disobedience, and we see them unfolding before our very eyes.
The so-called security assistance provided by Edom is not about protecting Israel from legitimate threats, but about ensuring its ability to enforce its will upon the surrounding nations and maintain its grip on contested territories. It is about securing Edom’s own geopolitical interests in the region, using Israel as a proxy to achieve its aims. This arrangement is a blatant disregard for justice and a violation of Yahuah’s laws.
The remnant of Yisrael must recognize this dynamic for what it is: a continuation of the ancient pattern of oppression and exploitation. We cannot look to Edom or Israel for salvation. Our hope lies in repentance, obedience to the covenant, and a return to the ways of our ancestors. Only then will Yahuah restore us to our rightful place and fulfill His promises of redemption. The weapons of Israel will not deliver us; only the Word of Yahuah will.
The relentless arming of Israel by Edom, as foretold in scripture, is not a bolstering of a righteous nation, but a fueling of Yahuah’s judgments. Obadiah 1:10-11 vividly depicts Edom’s fate for violence against their brother Jacob: “For the violence against your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off forever. On the day that you stood on the other side, on the day that strangers’ armies carried away his captives, and foreigners entered his gates and cast lots over Jerusalem, you too shall be as one of them.” This unwavering support, this pouring forth of resources into a nation increasingly defiant of righteousness, is not building a secure future, but hastening Edom’s own desolation. They have become complicit in actions that cry out to Yahuah, willingly trading their own spiritual well-being for perceived geopolitical advantage.
However, within this darkness, a glimmer of restoration for true Yisrael – those grafted into the covenant through faith in Yahusha – persists. Though outwardly appearing in exile and scattered, the remnant who seek Yahuah’s face are being refined by the fires of adversity. Ezekiel 36:24-28 speaks of a future gathering, a cleansing, and a new covenant heart given to His people. The current events, while painful, are exposing the false foundations upon which modern Israel stands, while simultaneously drawing the faithful closer to Yahuah’s promise of a true and lasting restoration – a spiritual regathering that transcends geographical boundaries and political alliances. Therefore, despite the seeming power of Edom and Israel’s military strength, Yahuah’s ultimate plan of redemption for His true people will prevail.
